Eagle fans surprisingly defeated

You're right, I forgot about that game. Well, there's always the chance they feel overconfident based on what they did to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The NFL truly is a week-to-week league.

It is but these players don't think the same way as the fanbase thinks, there is pressure on both of these teams and it's whoever limits the back breaking penalties and turnovers that will probably win this game.

This whole game in my eyes is up to the Oline. If Murray has running lanes and they can keep tony upright we can score.
What sucks is we will have to go score for score with them. It may all come down to who has the ball last.

Could be wrong but tend to think our OL is better than theirs. Philly will make some plays they are a good unit, last game Romo really was off and just not getting the ball there. I expect to see a more mobile Romo in this game with the extra rest and I expect him to do what he has to do to get ready something he said he failed to do last time

I do think our oline is better than theirs. So that should help.

There's a difference between losing a game for a good reason or by a respectable margin, as opposed to what Green Bay and Seattle did to them.

The Eagles are a fraud in terms of Super Bowl contention, and their knowledgeable fan base understands that. Dallas is far more built to give those teams a legitimate game.

The Cowboys are the only real chance this division has to make noise in the playoffs. Whether Dallas does or not is yet to be seen. That Commanders game, plus the ridiculous scheduling of the Thanksgiving week, might have doomed the Cowboys. It might take 12-4 for Dallas to just get into the playoffs.

This team is a SB contention fraud too until Romo gets his fastball back,,,

Pressure only will happen if we can keep him in poor down and distance. That does not happen unless McCoy is stopped.

I agree. McCoy must be contained in this game. He sets everything up for them. Sanchez is hearing the chatter and he is starting to resemble guy in NY. He could easily fold in this game. Dallas will need their free safety (Church) to actually cover in this game. Earl Thomas was ridiculously good at taking Sproles out of yesterday game. Terrance Williams should have opportunity at big game because Eagles CB Fletcher might be one worst CB in football. He has been getting torched regularly and getting alot of interference penalties now that refs have singled him out.

They tend to go on full meltdown mode pretty easy but I'm not sure Cowboy fans are any better as there are many on this board who go full meltdown after one TD given up.

I really thought this sunday night game was going to be ultra hostile. After listening to few shows...I am not so sure now. It sounds like eagle fan base is coming to terms with reality that the Eagles are not in same class as Green Bay or Seattle. That it will take getting Marriota to take them to next level. There is sense that Sanchez has come back to earth and is becoming a liability. The eagles secondary really got picked on in seattle game and Dallas should be studying that acutely. This is winnable game for Dallas but I think they need to establish Romo early in this game to show he is not spooked by what happened on thanksgiving. Eagles front 4 is much improved from start of season as Cox is playing at high level so I don't think Dallas can just rely on Murray taking to them. Get up early in this game and fans will start to wonder if Eagles even make playoffs which would be amazing considering they were 9-3 at one point.

Keep in mind that playing Dallas is their SuperBowl! They will be pumped ....fans and teams....but if Boys get on them quick, that pathetic fan base will turn on their team..... Don't underestimate the hate towards Dallas.....

If they sell the house for Mariotta, then that will cripple them for years to come.

Plus, I'm not so sure Mariotta is the next great thing at this level. Take his running out, and he's forced to be a pocket passer, which he isn't.

Plus, Half the time he just throws it up and his receivers do all the dirty work.

He's got a thin build, and will get broken in half at this level.

I remember a guy named Carr who had similar numbers in college.

But I hope they do try to get him. It's only in our favor

139 yards total offense sums it up. Completely dominated. What else is there to say. Seattle shut down the run, got to the passer, and defended the middle of the field. Three things Dallas didnt do on Thanksgiving.

I know they act like they lost to the Raiders or something. They'll most likely make the playoffs and have a ton of cap room for next year. Why are they so upset?

The game will be as such.........if we contain Sproles, we will win. If Sproles runs around all wild and free, we will lose.

The score was 24-14 in the mid 4th quarter and Seattle offense not moving the ball well.

Malcolm Jenkins dropped what should have been a pick 6.

Eagles would have been kicking off to Seattle down by 3.

The game was not a blow out.

Sanchez could not do anything against their def.

But don't think the eagles def played so bad in that game.

Wilson kept eluding their pass rush to extend plays. That is how Seattle moved the ball and tony won't be running like Russell was.

Anyone thinking the eagles are a fraud has not been paying attention.

Some of this is true however, if the Seattle punter doesn't drop the ball on the 15 yard line and gets the punt off, the way the Eagles offense couldn't move the ball at all, it's doubtful they would have done anything there. Seattle handed them 7 points right there. So that balances out the whole "Jenkins should have had a pick for a TD" angle.

I don't think the Eagles are frauds but I don't think they are elite either. They dont have a good enough QB to beat good defenses. Unfortunately, we don't have a good defense and are capable of making Sanchez look great.

Well that's pretty irrelevant considering that they won't be on the field at the same time. They key is that their DL is a hell of a lot better than ours, and last game got a ton of pressure on tony. Our OL is elite when it comes to run blocking, but they're still inconsistent in pass protection which is trouble against a good DL

The game should have been close bc philly almost had a pick 6??? Awful argument...the game wasn't close...Seattle didn't do a good job of finishing philly off...but the game was never in doubt

Unless they are going to give up a RG3 like package of picks, no way they even get close to Marriota

I hope they do and then I'll root intently for him to suck even worse than RG3 has.

That would be just absolutely fantastic.

That's what I've been saying. Romo can't extend plays like Wilson can. Romo won't run the ball like he used to.

that and Wilson tend to look to run and Romo looks to pass, Romo outside the pocket is a dangerous situation for Philly. Last game without the injections Romo was unable to move around like he normally does and at times just gave himself up as opposed to taking the hit. As Romo said after the game "That will not happen again"

Agree. Tony gave up the play to protect the team and season as he knows weeded can't get it done

Philly is a bad match up for Dallas.. Zero pressure makes average QB's and wide receivers into All Pro's.. Add that Philly can rush the passer and we have a QB that is playing hurt.. Hoping for the best but I'm not putting any money on this game..

I think the bigger factor is Philly is showing they can hold up against good running attacks. They stopped Murray early and they contained Lynch on Sunday. If our running game isn't at least effective, we have no shot.
