The Eagles remind me of the 2016 Cowboys team but better. Good RPO QB who's, a threat to run, and hard to bring down. Which helps the running game by keeping the defense guessing. The QB is a decent passer who makes timely throws and has a lot of time due to the running threat. They have a good Oline. AJ Brown is their Dez Bryant. Good TE play. I think there defense is a little better than what the Cowboys had. They also seem to have a better coaching staff. They will be tough to beat this season.
- Eagles do not anything that is near remotely close to what we had with the 2016 Zeke Elliott. He was basically Adrian Peterson 2.0 ... with an incredibly combination of homerun speed and burst,
great power and leg drive, and a knack for the goal line. And we were deadly with the RB screens to Zeke (something Kellen simply does not prefer)
and Linehan was not running RPO's for Dak.
- i do agree with WR and TE comparisons - only Donvate Smith is better than what we had with TWill. But the Eagles don't a slot guy on the level of Cole Beasley.
- i do think the Eagles have a much better pass rush than what our 2016 team had, Dlaw, Collins, Crawford, McClain and Irvin.
and they have a better secondary than what we had in 2016, with Church, Claiborne, Byron and Carr.
Although this 2022 Eagles defense also has it's own run defense issues as we do.
- Dunno who Eagles are playing/starting at LT ... but he really got handled last night vs the Texans.
