You can only point to two plays that were negative with Dak when passing the ball today. He destroyed Philly defense and yes, was surgical.

I'm no Dak hater; I gave him his props for the win. It's just ridiculous when people start saying he is top 5 quarterback and using this particular game as a reference to that, when this is the type of game you don't want to see come playoff time. And two plays that is your words and not mines, since there were more than just two plays where dak looked bad in, where in the game threads themselves yesterday there were more than two times where the people who were watching the game and posting commented on it. Homers on here are intolerant of others viewpoints, automatically calling anyone who doesn't see Dak as a top 5 quarterback and who criticizes Dak in any game for anything. We won because the eagles gave us a last minute Christmas gift. The way we played, quarterback included, would have nobody surprised except the biggest homers if we would've lost that game. You are exposing nobody but yourself.

So we can say The Cowboys defense did not play up to the level that they could've but because of the agenda of proping up someone favorite quarterback to being a top 5 surgent we can't say that the Eagles defense was not playing up to their level? Hypocrisy?

To say the Eagles "can't stop us" reeks of overconfident bravado. I think we'd best be more realistic of what they'll likely offer the next time around. I'm hopeful we'll put forth a better version of our defense, so as to avoid demanding quite as much from Dak in the future. Let's hope our defense has some missing players returning to augment them the next time around. Let's be aware that we came within a whisper of losing Saturday evening, vs. Minshew.

Dak played almost a perfect game, the pick 6 and going out of bounds are the only 2 plays you can say was bad.

Dak was lethal and saved the game with that 3rd and 30 perfect pass to Hilton. The fact some of you can't even give him due credit says a lot about this silly bias they have against Dak

And I gave dak some praise in the game thread as well. But I can see others down on Dak at those moments in the game as well and that is more than 2 (your words not mines). From my perspective, Dak wasn't performing surgery during that game he was hot and cold throughout the game which to me is being inconsistent. I must have a higher standard on what I consider performing surgery. The above moments maybe debatable by some, because I realize not everyone sees the game the same way. Dak deserves his props, but right after the game we get threads saying he proved he is a top 5 quarterback after a game I saw him play as inconsistent and would probably cause us to lose in the playoffs with that kind of performance.

To be fair Dallas could not stop the Eagles; neither defense was far from dominant; if you look at the stats they were quite even…save for the fumbles and sack categories.
Should these teams meet again in the playoffs; both will have their respective starting QBs, so should be a competitive game.

Well, they didn't and dont care about excuses.
I take the win and run down the street happy with this means nothing victory.
A lot of necessary reps took place in this means nothing game.
Maybe some future game scripting evolves from this means nothing victory.

Well, I think philly did give it their all. They just had too many costly turnovers that led to 20 points for us. Too bad for them. Next time try doing a better job protecting the ball egirls. In all likelyhood we will see them again (unless they continue to play like they did yesterday) in which case they are not beating anyone.
