Interesting. He is only a jerk when they win.
Yeah, I'm shocked at how gracious and less douchey he was overall. I was expecting to hear him say nothing but how they weren't really going full on or something...Y'know, like some of the posters here try to claim.

The Eagles are very concerned right now and have a lot of unanswered questions with the health of their football team. We will see Sunday how they overcome adversity vs. a motivated Saints team that is not afraid to play in the elements.

The Eagles never expected their defense to get shredded by the Cowboys, especially the way they stuffed the Cowboys running attack and got to the QB.

I think that 3rd and 30 darn near broke them.

There's an article I can't link to here breaking down how Kellen Moore exposed their defense with empty sets.

The convenient fan whipping boy strikes again.
If this is true I'll eat my piece of humble pie right now. I'm still not a fan of some play designs but his tactics in this game were spot on. I gotta give him his credit because I jump on him when things aren't going well.

Remember the rule:

Dak plays well - it's not Moore;

Dak plays poorly - it's Moore.

Haven’t seen this posted. Always good to see him eat some humble pie. Enjoy the taste of his tears.

Also— very interesting point their beat reporter gives around the 4:35 mark re turnovers and regression to the means:

Eagles suck worse than Garrett!
No! Never forget all the stupid crazy losses we had with Garrett. He once iced our own kicker. He once allowed a journeyman DE from Atlanta to dominate our whole offense. I could go on and on…

So the Eagles local analysts are blaming the loss on injuries, but the Cowboys had injuries to. 4 starters missing from their defense including 2 CBs and their best LB. After losses, injuries matter. Before games it is next man up. The point is, when the games are played the truth about injuries always emerges.

GMFB just a bit ago, also blaming it on injuries and other excuses. One saying those INT's were on the WR Watson not doing the right thing then got out physical for the ball.
They will not say it was just good defensive plays.
GMFB and that idiot Kyle Brandt has hated on Dallas since before the draft.

They are a very good team and they know it. The fact they'll have two 1st round picks next year is very deflating. They are running a clinic on how you build a roster with your QB still on his rookie deal.

They also have some older players, and some contacts coming up. They will need to make decisions, as to when to pay Hurts, and others, or let them go so they can pay Hurts.
They do, somehow have a lot of cap space supposedly. After giving out quite a few FA deals.

They are doing thing right, and the organization has been given positive reviews from around the NFL.

So do they realize this and are going the route of the LAR, all in this year before the team gets partly blown up.

That is going to change because Philly will have to deal with Hurts this off season before he reaches URF in 2023. Hell I hope he gets MVP because they will only drive his price tag higher. lol
I do agree they have 2 1st rd picks that is big

It's huge that they have one potentially in the top 10, but I doubt they do much with the other unless they start making trades.

Let's not forget how little success they've had in the draft over the past decade.

Always fun to watch these people realize they may not be as good as their record suggests.

Exactly...stop those stupid 5yd routes when you need 7 and those pathetic te and wr screens for 2yds and always running up the middle in short yardage plays when everyone knows that's what we mostly do in those situations..just stop being predictable...if you remember,in the 90s,we would pass to set up the run to loosen the defense, doing the opposite is giving us so many 2nd and longs..jmo

The Cowboys have run toss sweep to Zeke for 20+ yards on 4th and 1 twice this year so that particular criticism isn't really valid. Yes they are predictable at times.. but sometimes the reason you do the thing that the defense is expecting is because it's far and away the best thing you could do in that situation. And the defense knows it.. that's why they try to show you a look that gets you out of it. Zeke behind Zack or Pollard to the pylon should be damn near unstoppable on the goal line.. I don't care if the the defense knows it's coming. If everybody executes you score.. Period.. end of story. As long as the Cowboys continue to put up 30+ points a game no matter who the defense is I will be happy.. It's when they start with this scoring in the teens business I get miffed. They're too good for that. And when you play a defense that matches up with your offense that's where the coach has to come in. If Moore can do that against defenses like the Commandos and the 49ers I will stop wishing for him to leave town. He took a huge step forward hanging 40 on Philly frankly. And that could easily have been a 50 burger with a little better play calling int he red zone but you can't complain about 40. Now just keep it going.

Yep… and as their beat reporter pointed out, they are turning the ball over at a high rate the last 8 games.

The Eagles have benefited from a soft schedule, and they are hitting their adversity now. They are fallible and they are showing signs of weakness.

Can teams expose their defense and force then to commit turnovers? The next two weeks will be interesting to see how they respond following their spanking in Big D. Siriani seems confident they will “fix it”— but in truth, their issues have been going on for awhile— they just haven’t been losing games because of them until Sat night.

Yeah their team is older than their average age indicates.

This is one of the downsides of mostly building through trades/free agency. They have not consistently pumped young, worthy talent in.

Outside of Jordan Davis, their DTs are a very old group. I think Hargrave is the next youngest at 29.

Kelce is 35. Lane Johnson is the same age as Tyron and Martin. Slay is 32.

They'll likely continue rebuilding through FA/Trades, but it's going to get tougher if they end up paying Hurts.
