It wasn't even two weeks ago that many on this forum were panicking and had to be reminded that "it's a long season".
Agreed. It only matters if we win our division so eagles have always been more important. Niners should win the West so we'd have to go to SF regardless unless we can take out Philly.more important than beating a division rival who's currently one game up. don't think so.
Let's Go Cowboys!!! Sweep the eagles
That was one of the most poorly executed QB sneaks I ever saw.You could be right, but some people are seeing it as a "Tush Push" play because CMC attempted to push Purdy late.
Except for Lance.SF isn’t a QB driven team, it’s plug n play.
He was having trouble on the flight back. Could explain the 2 wild picks he threw at the end of the Vikings game.
Now Sunday is Sam Darnold vs the Cincinnati Bengals. Lucky for them they have a bye afterward. But we may be going into that Dallas-Philly with the 49ers at 3 losses.
SO this is where he got hurt. I'm not one of those ones who believes that the Tush Push should be banned. But if more QBs start to get injured attempting it, then the NFL might look into banning or limiting the play. As QBs are one of their main draws and money makers.
Very true…and Purdy was outstanding with his decision making. I think Darnold will prove to show the same. He’s really on his last shot to increase his stock a little. He will do what coach wants…and if he doesn’t? He’ll remain a backup in the leagueYou still have to make the correct reads and make the throws. Plug and play didn't help the 49ers in last years game against the Eagles.
Eagles-Cowboys In 2 Weeks Just Became Substantially More Important

Yes it does, but could the concussion be a fabricated excuse?Purdy played the entire game against the Vikings didn't he? So he was injured in the game and never came out? Doesn't that violate protocol?
They see a rating$ bonanza with Dallas/Philly. If it looks like Dallas will win, Philly will too. If it looks like a Dallas loss, Philly wil lose too. Holding or interference—something subjective and unprovable.I have a feeling the Eagirls will lose to the Commanders this weekend. They barely beat them in OT few weeks ago in Philly.
Your hair stylist? Lol. What the hell do you pay for a haircut? Can you post a picture of your hair. It must be incredible.Best news for Purdy. If he loses to Cincy, and looks bad - we could see Darnold as early as November even if he weren't injured.
At some point, Darnold will look bad....... and then people can say we want Purdy back, putting him back as starting QB to end the season.
My hair stylist and my neighbor on both sides of my house and across the street makes more than him, so this is one dude who can't afford to lose his job.
Somebody told me that the 49ers wouldn't lose 4 games this year.It wasn't even two weeks ago that many on this forum were panicking and had to be reminded that "it's a long season".
If the 49ers were to lose Deebo, McCaffery, and Williams, they very well might not win the West.Agreed. It only matters if we win our division so eagles have always been more important. Niners should win the West so we'd have to go to SF regardless unless we can take out Philly.
Just how many quarterbacks do you really think are good enough to fully operate their sophistication in their scheme? Not many even can.SF isn’t a QB driven team, it’s plug n play.
