All Philthy fans during the season is to beat Dallas. They don’t care if they’re 2-15 as long as those 2 wins are against Dallas.

You still have to make the correct reads and make the throws. Plug and play didn't help the 49ers in last years game against the Eagles.

Very true…and Purdy was outstanding with his decision making. I think Darnold will prove to show the same. He’s really on his last shot to increase his stock a little. He will do what coach wants…and if he doesn’t? He’ll remain a backup in the league

Best news for Purdy. If he loses to Cincy, and looks bad - we could see Darnold as early as November even if he weren't injured.

At some point, Darnold will look bad....... and then people can say we want Purdy back, putting him back as starting QB to end the season.
