Eagles didn't exactly crush Texans either

Their game against Houston was tied 14-14 at halftime and they were only up 21-17 going into the fourth quarter. Philadelphia scored eight points in the fourth quarter to put it away. That was without having the mistakes that we made to help Houston.

Not saying that means anything other than there's no real reason to panic. We'll see how we measure up to the Eagles a couple of weeks from now. Every game is different.

Yeah I was waiting for someone to mention this. I remember watching that game and thinking damn they are really struggling...mind you this was in the midst of struggling with the Commanders and Colts as well. I wonder will our resident Eagles fans acknowledge this.

It’s hard to keep focus on the NFL when playing a string of teams you’re a lot better then. This was our third straight game, and next week will be four straight, against teams the metrics say we’re 10+ points better then. Teams get bogged down in the mundane sometimes.

It wouldn’t shock me at all to lose to Jacksonville next week only to beat Philly by two touchdowns the next.

First, you'll need to explain to them the definitions of the words "resident" and "acknowledge".
They're Eagles fans.

Still feels like the Texans stole defeat from the jaws of victory.

Philly didn’t crush the Texans but they did play them on the road and ended up beating them by 12 points. They certainly didn’t play as shoddy against them as we did today. I still can’t believe the Cowboys pulled the game out. They were out played for most of the game.

This is honestly sad. You shouldn’t have to compare your close win/loss to another team to make it seem as if our struggle was understandable. It was not. This team played horribly today. I don’t care if the Eagles struggled. I don’t care if the Chiefs struggled. I don’t care if the Commanders struggled. It’s not an excuse. This team is capable of playing at a much higher caliber and they barely looked like they could be a top college team. Regardless, stop using this “so and so struggled too”.

If you want to silence the football knowledge challenged haters....

Just ask them why we were able to blowout a Vikings team that Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, Tua and Josh Allen all loss to. They run from answering this question.

Well the Eagles seem to be keeping focus!
Can the Boys stay focused to win three games in a row against quality opposition just to get to the NFC Championship game?
That’s my concern.

The Eagles have played close games against Detroit, Dallas with Cooper Rush, Indy, Houston, Jacksonville, Arizona, Green Bay and lost to Washington.

That’s what bad teams do and is why they have only won one game.
And conversely, finding ways to overcome mistakes find ways to win is what good teams do, Under the Garrett regime this is a game we lose. Gotta give MM a little credit in that regard.

I am not worried about the Eagles or how they played against the Texans. I am worried about the Cowboys and the effort that they made against a very bad Texans team.

Don’t you guys get it? We’re supposed to win every game going away. We can’t have ugly games and come away with a win, we have to be flawless or it doesn’t count. Has anyone ever had a bad day at work, but still got the job done? If you answer no, you’re not telling the truth. We won the game, on to next week.

What’s that got to do with focus?
Or for that matter winning three consecutive games in the playoffs?
At this time of year championship teams start rounding into form.
What we saw didn’t look like a team rounding into form.
Maybe it’s a blip but with the Boys recent and not so recent form, it’s worrying.
