Updating a previous item, ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports the Eagles are talking to the Dolphins about trading up to No. 12 overall.

Sal Pal has strong ties to the Eagles organization, and he's stationed in Philadelphia on Thursday. His report, consistent with others coming out of Eagles camp, suggests the team is targeting Texas S Earl Thomas. This one has been long speculated and a bit of a no brainer. Eagles have a lot of picks to give, and Miami's value is in the early-mid twenties where they can choose between Sergio Kindle, Ryan Matthews and Jerry Hughes and pick up the 2nd rounder they gave up for Marhsall.
