Eagles Draft :(

I was really looking forward to hearing, The Superbowl 52 Champion Eagles with the 32 pick in the 2018 draft select " insert here" then getting to see Jerry and War Rooms faces . But Im really really happy with what we got for it . No. 52, No. 125 and a 2019 second rounder to the #Eagles for the No. 32 pick. Hell of a package. Not having a 2nd rounder this year was really going to hurt ... Dam browns have it along with 2 more picks in the 2nd. Got to love Howie the God of GMs . Browns would be smart to trade down and get quality instead of quantity

That (Philthy's pick) wouldn't have made any emotional difference there (Dallas Draft Central). There are 31 other teams an the NFL. All their choices have effects on Dallas draft strategies. Philthy is just one of them.

Do you see anyone (Cowboy fans) here crowing about wanting to see into the ***** iggles draft room? Weird obsession from you I'd say. Don't be so puffed up worrying about how Jerrah "looked" although that is a typical mentality of your fan group.

Lets see , there has been article after article with Jerry talking about the Eagles. Him losing sleep over the Eagles winning. He does not see a huge gap from the Eagles . There are more as well. They have not stopped from ESPN, NFL to even the smaller news sites. Its extremely funny that the year Dallas gets the Draft at home is the same year Eagles win the SB . It does take away from it a bit ... Its like Pearson trying to Troll Eagles fans last year when the draft was in Philly.

You would not understand is because you never had 50 years of getting mocked of No rings , 0 SBs empty trophy case jokes . Im not sure you understand the comedy relief Jerry brings the rest of the NFCE at times , you should as we both get to enjoy Dan Synder.

A lot of Cowboys fans left the draft by this point, and I was on the way out when they announced the trade, but you had all those Eagles fan in attendance waiting ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NIGHT for their pick, and then the rug got pulled right out from underneath them! I watch the draft from a football standpoint. Tactical and talent potential. I'm not into this drama of how the other teams feel, how they "look". Screw them, all of them, and the Philthy Iggles the most. My only thought is about matchups when I think of other teams ... solely that ... no drama about Lurie nor his front office. ***'em ! I learned the type of fan in Philthy when they cheered Michael Irvin's near paralyzing injury at The Vet.

Why don't you go over to BGN and hang out with like minded fans and quit trying to stir the pot here. You're welcome as an enemy poster if you want to talk cogently about football, schedules, players, talent, other teams on these subjects. No one is mocking the Cowboys ... Maybe you should look at someone without Biased blue tinted glasses. Hell maybe check some of my posts . There is always a couple of guys like you. I enjoy football and talking about football . You learn a lot more by talking to other fans besides your own . YOu learn more about other teams then the biased opinions you get from fan boards. This is a great site with a lot of knowledgeable people on it. The Mods are also very strict but fair and welcoming to outsiders that are here for football not trolling. I think your hate for the Eagles blinds you a bit . But Im done wasting my time , seems Id be better off talking to a wall .

It makes sense.
Most people think there's not much difference in the players in the 30-60 range this year anyway. The another mega-tier of players right after that too.
Great year to have picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

To be fair, Jerry always says there's not a huge gap between the Cowboys and the current SB winning team. That's a fact and as a fan, sometimes I agree with him. I don't know about his sleep patterns and generally avoid Jerry Jones articles because they are full of B.S.. Things are so political in Dallas from the talking heads that we don't learn anything of value.

Part of the joy of being a Cowboys fan is bragging rights. We don't have the same bragging rights as the Steelers (6 Lombardis) or Patriots (too many too close together Lombardis) but we've got 5. I won't get into a deep discussion on our hatred for the Eagles because I'd lose my point all together. I live in Saints territory and suffered through their first Lombardi. The fans lost their ever loving minds! I imagine it may be further amplified for Eagles fans as your franchise has been around longer. It's a glorious feeling which should be celebrated for as long as possible because when football starts back up, you will face the toughest schedule with some different players. Other teams come in like buzzards to pick your team apart and you watch it grow weaker until it can no longer compete at it's once proud level.

Oh, we understand the comedy relief Jerry brings. He's like the drunken uncle at family reunions. We have to claim him even when we don't want to. He's the one with the decision power and ultimate control over our beloved team.

The eagles board is boasting about the trade up to snag a TE infront of us.......I didn't have the heart to tell them a TE wasn't even on our board....so they wasted a 5th round pick for nothing.................this is on the "hey Dallas, we got Demarco" level.........glad to see the eagles return to being the eagles.
