Playing hindsight G.M. are we? LOL, so telling of you. Yeah King is a nice prospect, if he could ever stay healthy. Injury prone so far this season, with shoulder and groin injuries.

Like Awuzie and Lewis and Woods? Like all three, but its too early to call anyone injury prone.

But as far as Taco are you impressed with anything the kid has done? Give me both King the LB that SF took, or Watt. And hindsight? I was saying the same things right after the draft. You can go back and check.

Trades for Wentz, Darby, Ajayi. FA signings like Jeffrey and T Smith. Meanwhile, we sign Paea and Nolan Carroll and make no trades. And reach for guys like Taco...

Almost all the positions the Cowboys don't really need. And Ajayi is killing me in fantasy. So he sucks. If you remember, Philly sucked last year so they are replacing a lot of offensive players.

He absolutely changes the offense when he is getting 4-6 yards on each run versus getting 2-4. The success of the run sets up our passing game. There should not be any illusion that it doesn't.

I think the gameplan has to be modified as well.

I just believe that going into this six game stretch expecting the same kind of set up from his replacements is a foolish gambit.

Teams are not going to bite nearly as hard on playaction nor will they respect the run nearly as much.

I disagree that teams will just drop back and let the Cowboys offense run all over them. They will load up the boxes and force Dak to beat the, it would be a mistake to try to pass the ball 35+ times knowing that Zeke is not Tom Brady/Aaron Rogers.

Not necessarily disagreeing, I just don't believe that teams will sell out nearly as much as they would if Elliott were available.

The Broncos' strategy, for example, was to load up on Elliott and make us pass. I think teams will probably do that early, but Garrett & Co. will be going empty set with the quickness once the run proves not as effective. I just don't see Dallas having the nerve to stick with it for long like they would with Elliott available. If Prescott is not up to the task and we don't have some new wrinkles it could get very ugly.
