Before I get started, must say congratulations to the Cowboys ...I'm sure the victory was sweet!

Speaking of sweet ...the Eagles loss was bitter sweet. We're used to "bitter," but it was sweet to see the team clicking on all cylinders from both sides of the ball. Several mistakes in our secondary that hopefully, our GM will repair.

My head is still swirling from whether or not I should be upset about this loss. On one hand it is a loss to a division rival, but on the other hand, I think we won the battle but loss the war.

I don't feel too bad about the loss because we contended, and that's all I've ever said we'd do.

Looking at how the Giants, Skins, and Cowboys played, I can Honestly say that the NFC-East are truly going to give the NFL some great games this year!

Well see you soon (Quote from the movie Tombstone ...just before the gunfight at the OK Corale)

The guy who you quoted cried like a girl, saw his brother get killed, and ran away from the fight.

Tombstone is a great movie. My favorite part is when they are all lined up for that gunfight and no one knows if its gonna go down or not and Doc Holliday looks around and see's the cowboy Ike and Ike is all worked up and kind of shaking and Doc just winks at him like cmon what you got, and that sets everything off, Ike grabs for his gun and Wyat goes Ohh ****. That was great!!

Talon, One thing the eagles scare the heck out of me... If they put that kind of beating on Bledsloe... well it could be a reallllllly long game. The game should remind all teams to keep the foot on the gas for the full 60 minutes...

You got that right! I've seen it at least 10 times and I can't get enough of it. There were so many "best parts" in this movie for me, but One of them was when Ringo and Doc first met in the Saloon...Just after they shared comments In Latin, Ringo began to demonstrated his pistolaro skils and Doc reciprocated with his flask cup skills as they went intoMy best part was when Doc Holiday.

That was a great movie ..they even had Charlton Heston in it!

Perhaps not ...with Bledsoe, that would depend on your offensive Line. However, with Romo; a more maneuverable QB, the Eagles DL would have more of a challenge containing and sacking him.

So very true fjones!

Live coward versus dead hero ...hmmm?! Ok you're right ...dead Hero is better:rolleyes:

Well that sums up the eagles philosophy in a nutshell ...... tell that to Emmitt Smith after his famous Giants game.

anyway the guy you are talking about was killed (2 years after the movie stopped talking about him) ..... and the Hero lived into his 80's

:lmao2:

I loved McNabb yuking it up on the sidelines when they were up 24-7, and then pulling that jr high crap and getting a penalty on the field, only to watch his team fall later.

He is such a putz.

Certainly not a leader yesterday.

I was in such a good mood after that game.

I'm a McNabb hater with the best of them, but what did he do that you refer to as "JR high crap"? I didn't watch the whole game but I keep hearing people refer to it.

A Giants LB was coming up to the LOS sort of faking like he was going to blitz, you know how they sort of jump forward one step and move their arms like, .. "here I come"

Well, like a 13 yr old, McNabb does the same thing back at him, to sort of mock him or show him, "I'm not scared of you", ... so childish.

That's a penalty.

And then the Iggles didn't get the first down after the penalty.

He was clowning since they were so far ahead, and being so cocky. Plus he was laughing and yuking it up on the sidelines like high school kids do during a rout.

He is no leader.

He is a great athlete, but such a dork.

I think you're right.
After the penalty, it was 1st and 15, Westbrook ran for 9 so instead of 2nd and 1 it was 2nd and 6, ... then he fumbled.

Thank you for explaining. I watched the game but missed that play. I never did hear exactly what happened. That sounds just like something McNabb would do. Does anyone have a video?
