McNabb and company put up some good numbers last week that has the dirty hole of a town riled up. They think they own the Cowboys in Texas stadium. Time to close out this stage of the rivalry with a resounding statement!

I love competition. I love rivalries. Every great team needs a nemesis. I think for the Eagles that's us and for the Cowboys it's the Eagles. I know for my Father and many who watched football in the 70's the Cowboys most hated rival was the Washington Commanders, but for me growing up watching the games it was always Philly. I think we're fortunate to have such a strong division of rivals this year and the Eagles, in my opinion, are by far our greatest competition, our most hated rival and our Nemesis.

Agreed...Rivalries definitely make the game more interesting/compelling...And it changes from year to year on the intensity of the rivalry as some years the skins stink so bad it's hard to really call it a contest...Lately, the big rivalry has been with the G-men but never tire of seeing the boys pound Philly...Never

I disagree. I used to hate the 9ers in the 90's Eagles have to win a championship till I consider them a rival they are all the bottom of the barrel IMO.

when I was little, early 80s, the Foreskins were hands down the Cowboys biggest rival. The 40Whiners also had some claim to that.

The rivalry, to me, has shifted. The antics of the Iggles and their complete lack of class from on the field play (Randall Cunningham fake knee TD, Bounty Bowl) to their idiot fans gives them the nod now. I enjoy whooping Philly.

Talk about a total buzz kill. I just remembered the Motivational Pictures thread from a couple of years ago and all the great pictures mocking the Eagles.

Almost all of the pictures in that thread are gone and just the little red x is there.
