I'm trying to see how that would be a good thing. The team was razor close to winning the super bowl last year and this would make them a lot better.

I really am not very well acquainted with the inner workings of the NFL salary cap, but surely the well will run dry in Philly eventually?

All of that aside, if Philly signed Taylor to a mega deal, we all should be thrilled. It would be a very large mistake long term.

I’m not sure it does. They brought in Swift and Penny. They kept Gainwell (who way outplayed Sanders in the playoffs last year) and Scott.

Only way I see Howie pulling the trigger is if they deal is right and they just don’t like what they’re seeing in the RB room right now (which I don’t think is the case)

Fair point, although neither Swift or Penny have ever been a lead RB in the NFL. The collective group could form a a pretty strong RB by committee though.
