Playing before required surgery? So he's compromised. He can't be that effective.

I doubt Hurts will be 100 percent either. The Iggles may be primed for a second round/ first playoff game exit. Sure hope its the Boys who are the ones to do it - how sweet that would be.

Sprained joint in the throwing shoulder is no small ding on a QB.

Even if he is able to play for the playoff game— he will have a few weeks of rust to knock off— and maybe some tightness and soreness to work through.

They are mortal. And Dak hasn’t lost a NFCE game in 19 straight games. I like our chances if we see them again— and I know they feel the same about us. Bring it on and the let the better team win

Very true, and especially for a QB that runs so much. One big hit on that shoulder and who knows. That could be it for him. His day could end very early.

Actually their backup RT Driscoll is pretty solid. But he’s a backup and is replacing the best OT in the nfl.

We don’t even know what adductor muscle was torn…they are not all equal in terms of how effective you can be. He won’t be out there unless he can be effective.

I have read a dozen articles on Johnson's injury at least and they are all over the place in terms of the location of the injury. I have read "abdomen", adductors and abductors so finding out which specific muscle is injured seems like an impossibility at this point. It does seem like the current consensus is an adductor injury. Which muscle? Who knows. But from what I am reading it sounds like Johnson playing again this year is wishful thinking. A tear needs surgery to repair. No amount of rest and PT will fix it. I cannot imagine that an offensive lineman can play without one of 5 muscles functioning in his groin. I think Johnson is just trying to put on the brave face, but when he suits up for practice in 3 weeks, I think he is going to change his mind.

Philly are screwed. lol I commend Lane Johnson for wanting to play but that injury on the line of scrimmage with big men on the defense pounding on you? I don't see him getting through it or playing at his normal high level

Agree. One good shot to that area, and he could be hurt even worse

They’re going to drug Johnson up big time so he can play. Trying to fire off the ball and pushing with your upper body with that injury is flat out brutal. Commend the young man for trying to tough it out, but we all know his “best interest” isn’t really in the “best interest” of the team.
