Hahaha! They say our Cowboys barely beat them and their backup QB? Well, their backup QB has started for other teams, so he has experience. In reality, it's worse for them since they struggled to barely beat us earlier this year with our inexperienced backup QB. Bunch of crybabies!

This was a costly loss for the Eagles. Avonte Maddox CB, Jordan Davis, DT and 1st round pick, and Lane Johnson LT all left the game injured and may miss some time this season. Not good...
I think vets like C Kelse admitted that you cant win a game turning the ball over 4 times. Fair point.

Lots of fans on social media were saying how this game meant nothing to Philly, but just because they can clinch against the Saints or Giants still, doesn't mean that Eagles players weren't invested in winning this game and it doesn't mean they went into the game with a "This game means nothing to us" mentality. I'm sure they wanted to win and would rather have clinched the division/number 1 seed against the Cowboys, over doing it against the Saints or even Giants.
Yep. Now Jalen Hurts has to play banged up next week and risk further injury to his shoulder. Egal fans will do there all to down play the loss but deep down they know they needed the win. They are in full salty defense mode on social media right now, but the loss now keeps them from resting players and starting there prep early for a lengthy playoff run.

Smith for them looks like he weighs 110 pounds soak and wet.

Somebody needs to put him on his back at the line every play.

Jerry could sign my 11 year old and he could take care of that.
Yea, players we think are “small” end up being really muscular and bigger looking that we think without pads but he looks really thin there and not built at all, maybe bad angle and lighting or something lol

I love getting under the Eagles player's skin. The interviews reveal the loss had that effect. Maybe that will affect how they play the rest of the season... distracted. I'd love it if one loss avalanched into 2, then 3 for Philly. You never know! Geaux Saints!

It's ludicrous to say this game meant nothing to them. Obviously it didn't have the feel of an elimination game or a must win but it still meant something to them. They certainly did not play with the same fire as us, but that is on them. They may be a bit over confident they will get a win over the last 2 games. Mayby not. Stranger things have happened. I think they took this game a little too lightly, maybe they were overconfident, and that was certainly reflected in their sloppy turnovers. They took this game serious, but maybe not serious enough. They are setting themselves up for a potential big let down.

Ha, ha. Cry egirls cry. And thank you for your generous gift of 4 turnovers that we were able to convert into 20 points. Who knew you could be so generous. Don't expect the same from us. Ha ha. Cry egirls cry!

Yes this was a take many had, even some Cowboys fans on this forum was saying that this game was meaningless, because of the belief that the Eagles have the division and number 1 seed pretty much locked up at this point.

They still need a win. A single win. Each week they defer said win and take an “L” the pressure mounts. Don’t buy the fans perspective at all. They don’t play the game.

Trust me, yesterdays game really didn't mean much in the standings or seeding in the post season.
Both teams played like it meant everything to their seasons.
These teams don't like each other one bit so the win meant everything to both teams.
Anyone who says anything different is a liar.
They would have loved to beat Dallas on Christmas eve. Thankfully they were the victims last night.
Their Christmas is ruined.

Oh I'm sure. The guy is most definitely in great shape and strong.

I was just going on how he looked sitting there. Looked really small.

LOL Philly hates the Cowboys. If this game meant nothing to them why not put their entire 2nd and 3rd stringers in?

That is a dumb excuse. They simply lost. It doesn't mean we are a better team then they are. It just means we still can beat them and they simply can't take us for granted when the times comes to play us again.

I'll say this, we are a better team.

I can tell by the interviews that their players are mentally affected by this loss. This was not meaningless to them at all.
They know that they have a huge issue at right tackle and have a lot of other guys hurting as well. They are now under a lot of pressure going down the stretch.

beat themselves? So did we also beat ourselves last week? Did we beat ourselves against the Packers? WE clearly beat ourselves against the Eagles in the first meeting, yes?

As one of those guys said, you cant have 4 turnovers on offense and expect to win the game.... and that is normally how it goes in the NFL. You win the TO battle, you normally win the game. Nothing new here.

We beat ourselves in any game we had 4 turnovers too. Doesn’t take away from the win or an aggressive turnover forcing defense, but any team should man up and take responsibility for allowing 4 turnovers.
