The title says he went down, not injuried.

Maybe Samuels and Mcpuke were bobbing for apples. You know, like the one referred to in the Austin Power's movie by his dad, "it looks like a baby's arm holding an apple".

Lito Sheppard just came off the trading block.

They are lucky to have such good depth at CB. They won't have to rush him back.

Man I hate injuries. Even if the only eagles I like are in golf.

I hate them too. They are VERY gut-wrenching to hear, I agree.

Anyhow-sure, they may have good CB depth. But nonetheless, you take out either Lito, Sheldon, or Asante out of the equation, their depth is next to nil(their next best DB is Josalio Hanson, but he's nothing more than a Jacques Reeves clone).

Jim Johnson had high hopes of utlizing all 3 in his nickel/3-3-5 packages, FWIW.

BTW-with all the talk on this thread how we shouldn't be happy over other teams' injuries...

While I completely agree-but Eagles fans, for years, just keep wishing, hoping, and [insert Annie DeFranco song] that our players would go down to horrible injuries. Which is why, I'll admit, that when bad stuff happens to their team, while I won't exactly be happy, I won't be shedding tears either.

Skins and Giants fans may be obnoxious, and know how to talk smack too-but at least they're very respectful.

We dont celebrate injuries around here. They are not good for anyone, our team or anyone else's. IF teams are watered down from injury the games are not good and in turn the league is not good.

and you get the whiners that say "they didn't beat anybody" at the end of the season haha

I have been saying that I thought signing Paman was a lower risk than signing Asante. I bet they won't have round the clock coverage on it at ESPN like they did when TO had a hammy problem.

Carry on I will. Could be that I just misunderstood the meaning of exclamation points. I was under the impression that it denotes something important. I must have missed the memo on where it's interchangeable for a "" or an "LOL."

But in a world where so many are desperately searching for a reason to be offended so they can jump on a soapbox and demand restitution, I find I have little patience for trivial calls to the Mods. Changing the title of the thread because YOU felt that adding an emphasis to what could actually be a huge story was classless, just baffled me.

I've read some of your past posts, so I don't doubt your class. But I think that you may need to re-think the thickness of your skin.
