Barner was cut and is now on the Chargers. They have a guy named Marshall they kept. Word is that as soon as Matthews passes a physical he is gone.

Yeah the 4 i would think they're keeping is Blount, Sproles, Smallwood and Pumphrey. Is byron marshall still there? I would doubt he makes it because they have more invested in the other guys

Byron Marshall is still there. He can play ST's, WR and RB. I think they like his versatility, but don't know if he has the talent to stick. They liked him enough last year to promote him off the practice squad and keep him on the roster.

Blount is an average RB who benefitted greatly from being in the best offense in the league last year.

I am sure some here will poo poo it but the Eagles have built themselves a pretty competent offense, certainly a better one than last years.

Curious to see how Blount runs in Philadelphia. He had a big yr in New England working with the Belichick/Patricia coaching. He may find Philly a little different. Lets hope anyway.

Blount is a 1 dimensional power back who is on the wrong side of 30. He might have a little tread left on the tires, but I wouldn't count on it.

He could be a nice pick up for them.

I don't know if he's as scary an option as some thing, simply because I do believe a lot of his success was due to simply being in New England.

But the guy might prove that to be wrong.

The Giants still seem like far more of a threat, to me.
