I’m no hill fan but if he’s cut I suspect it will be to replace him with a better DT
We actually have about the best safety players we’ve had in a long time so even if you carried an extra safety you aren’t putting any of the top 3 on the bench for a guy who been in the league 8 years and is basically a decent player with no upside since he’s been in the league long enough you know what he is

Why would they want to sign this guy? They have a full roster and they can sign whoever they want to. The safeties that they have are better than he is. Where were you when they signed Hooker, Kearse, and Bell?

I could see adding a guy or two but not at a position we are 3 deep at. I could see a vet tackle because we have no backup tackle with experience. But I think they wait to see if Ball can be that guy. I don’t think we are very deep at LB. But safety we have 3 guys in the roster better than him so why pay the price for another ST player who won’t be beating out the guys we have

They could sign a veteran receiver, but they have been impressed by Tolbert. They could add a linebacker or a veteran offensive lineman. That's about it.
