Y’all played SF last year in the second game. Lots of teams were beating them early last year. By the end of the season they were a completely different team.

So it isn’t nearly as simple as your 6 points example. It never works that way anyway but it especially wouldn’t hold true for SF last year.

You could same the same about Philadelphia. We had offensive problems the beginning of the year and Sirianni changed it up. We started 2-5 and made the playoffs anyway. Beyond high powered offenses like TB and Dallas (which SF isn’t), we played everyone pretty well.

So you see that it doesn’t work that way…

This year’s Eagles 100% would have beaten last year’s SF. We played them last year and lost 17-11. AJ Brown, Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis, James Bradberry couldn’t have compensated for 6 points?
They beat the packers to bro. Lol 49ers we’re on a different level when they played y’all earlier in the year.. plus hurts is your Qb…

They beat the Packers because NFL MVP couldn’t score 11 Points at home. Not because they burnt them down with some dominant offensive performance

No just there dominant defense. They also beat the rams and almost beat them again in the playoffs.. y’all had a winning streak at the end of the year because you played some god awful teams.

they beat the rams at the end of the year in a game the rams didn’t need to win. Rams beat them a few weeks later to end their season. Their defense was very good, but they weren’t scoring enough to allow the D to assure victory. Any of those games from December on could very well have been losses with a fumble here or there

Still don't like their QB. I do think they improved elsewhere though.
Stopping their running game will be a major task this coming season.......:(

In the last 5 seasons, the Eagles have made the playoffs 4 times… and have 4 playoff victories to show for it.

If Philly is good enough to overcome Dak and the Cowboys (even without Tyron), absolutely they would be the odds-on favorite to beat Minnesota or Arizona in a playoff home game; as Dallas should have last year.

yeah or life doesn’t go perfectly and you draw Green Bay or Tampa Bay. And let’s see how you do

They barely beat the 49ers because a Tarte (eagles) drop a gimmie int in the 4th quarter.

I feel the Eagles will win the East and make it to the NFC Championship Game.

Eagle sports talk radio host on 94 WIP just said Tyron Smith injury is delightful news.. Always class in Philadelphia. Remember this when their stud goes down.
Why woukdnt it be. Eagles probably just won the east.

So Eagles fans know they need Dallas to lose their best players to beat us. It is a form of flattery.

But at the same time, the team that is healthiest wins in the NFL. Teams that lose their best players lose. There is also karma. It is unlikely the Eagles will get through the season without an injury or two so what goes around comes around.

On the flip side, Dallas lost its pro bowl QB in 2020 and the season was a mess. And now they lost their all-pro caliber LT. In 2017 Philadelphia lost both their All-Pro LT AND their Pro Bowl QB and still won the Super Bowl.

So as bad as this seems today, the sky is not falling. Lots of thing can happen between now and week 18.
