They cheered when Irvin lied motionless at Veterans stadium, and boo'ed when they got him onto the stretcher.

There is no lower class of fan.

If you haven't watched Bill Burr lay into the city of Philly for half an hour straight, I highly recommend it. Lol

There is no player I disliked more than Wilbur Marshall, I think he was the cause of at least 30 of the 40+ stitches Troy received in his chin over his career.

But I never wished injury on him. I loved to see Gogan or Big E blow him up, even with a cheap shot. But never injury.

This year’s Eagles 100% would have beaten last year’s SF. We played them last year and lost 17-11. AJ Brown, Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis, James Bradberry couldn’t have compensated for 6 points?
Bold statement considering this year's team hasn't played a single game yet. You have no idea how this year's team is going to perform when things get real on Sundays.

Eagle sports talk radio host on 94 WIP just said Tyron Smith injury is delightful news.. Always class in Philadelphia. Remember this when their stud goes down.
They are acknowledging how good he is when healthy. Reminds me of Irvin getting hurt. They were cheering not so much for the injury, but for Irvin not being able to hurt them anymore. Irvin always kicked the **** out of Philly and they knew it was always coming. Nothing they could do about it. That injury was their only hope of Irvin not dancing for six points every game they played against us.

Philadelphia could have beaten San Francisco? Oh yeah the Eagles did not beat one quality team last season. Your Eagles better be ready for the Lions in Detroit.

Last year we b
In the last 5 seasons, the Eagles have made the playoffs 4 times… and have 4 playoff victories to show for it.

If Philly is good enough to overcome Dak and the Cowboys (even without Tyron), absolutely they would be the odds-on favorite to beat Minnesota or Arizona in a playoff home game; as Dallas should have last year.

Last year we beat the Eagles by three touchdowns. Twice. They have no right to say what Dallas should have done.

LOL at this, yeah 3 of them were the year they won the Super Bowl. Who cares about the last 5 years, last 2 years or last year for that matter. So irrelevant right now.

Shows the Cowboys live rent free in the minds of those radio bots fans and the coach who wore his HS “ beat Dallas “ to practice shirt last yr. Then witnessed his team crumble .

What are you listening to them for anyways?

Celebrating injuries for the Cowboys or Cowboys fans celebrating injuries for others is weak.
To be fair, fans do it all the time, including cowboys' fans. People do it here often during the season.

Is that Michael Irving?
That was a sad day, indeed.

What is with this sudden hallowing of SF’s playoff run? They were the last team to qualify for the playoffs. Think of every little thing that had to happen for Dallas to lose that game. 14 unsightly penalties. If Randy Gregory doesn’t bodyslam the Olineman on third down, you win that game. Erase 1-2 of whatever the hell La’el Collins was doing and you win that game. The offense didn’t show up until 1.5 quarters left, and then they went gangbusters. This is a story we’ve seen before with Dak, but by all accounts it shouldn’t have happened. Dallas has maybe the least advantageous home field advantage in football. This has been the case ever since Jerry’s World had opened, and there are a myriad of reasons to explain it. And last but not least, the bizarre ending to the game. Not just the ref, not just Dak running too far, not just the call with 14 seconds left… everything.

It took a perfect storm of weirdly under preparedness from Dallas for SF to squeak that one out. Everyone on this board knew at the end Dallas should have won if they put their pants on correctly that morning. If anything didn’t go horribly wrong, then SF is one and done and we’re having a completely different conversation (nevermind Rodgers having the worst playoff game of his career the next week).

Realistically, SF is arguably the worst conference title game team since… 2014 Colts who had a similar luck of opponent gaffes to get there.

So could a 7 seed who added a pro bowl WR, a pro bowl CB, a pro bowl Pass rusher, and a much deeper defensive line possibly beat a 6 seed if it’s Philadelphia in January? Delusional? Not at all.
Sorry but if SF gets any kind of QB play that playoff game is a rout. They dominated the trenches and won the game, and ran all over the Cowboys D Jimmy G gifted that one pick is the only reason the game appeared close.

Remember the Anthony Bell hit Aikmans rookie year? Most people would still be laying there. BTW I remember wishing Joe Theisman injury in much younger days. I never did that again.

The fans that threw those batteries probably remember Lee Roy Jordan with a very dirty hit on Timmy Brown. Brown had a concussion and nine teeth knocked out. Pretty much ended his career as he was never the same.

Philly hates Dallas. Just because you don’t hate them doesn’t mean they don’t cheer for injury. Their season just got a little easier. Our injuries are good for them.

The Eagles fans threw batteries at their own Santa.
Don't see how that's connected to the Cowboys?

I know all about Eagle fans, the nastiest bunch of bitter, stupid, jealous, unshaven drunks in the NFL. Everyone knows about Irvin, snowballs at Santa, battery tossing, and a jail in the stadium, but those of us in Pennsylvania have seen so much more. They have Dallas Week twice per season, seven days of rallies, parties, and organized mayhem, trumpeting their ravenous hatred for our Dallas Cowboys. My brother saw a man in a Staubach jersey, on the bathroom floor in a fetal position, while a circle of Philly fans kicked him in the slats. I’ve seen videos of Eagle fans munching on road apples, a guy driving a green bus with “Dallas Sucks” license plates, burning effigy parties, and voodoo doll curse parties with bug eyed freaks literally foaming at the mouth! The hate is epic, unequaled anywhere else in the NFL. We roll our eyes and laugh, but it’s STILL kinda unsettling, in a Kathy Bates/Misery kind of way.
