Eagles v Pats Game thread *Merged*

It was close so it is inexcusable that it was not given a second glance.

The legacy of the tuck rule continues.

I bet the NFL get sued by someone before the year is over. Anyone know if that suit against the pats is still going on?

After looking at the replay, he was in but Im a little shocked that the booth didn't even take a second look.

That was a TD, but I cannot believe that they didn't even look at it. I've seen many more obvious plays reveiwed. It's almost a given that scoring plays are reviewed in the last two minutes.
He only got one foot in and his other knee hit the ground out of bounds. The Pats got away with one.

Let's face it people....sports is not a "sport" like it used to be....Business now rules the day. Never forget that.

9-11 and the "Patriots" win the SB? I could go on and on.

Some of you should have made the connection long ago.

shut up. im sick of all the BI**ing about refs this year. He was clearly In and clearly had possession.

WHOA! Someones testy tonight....settle down grasshopper.

It wouldn't have been overturned anyway.

Still, they should have looked at it.

That's more the point. How many close scoring plays inside the last two minutes have you seen not be reviewed? My count now stands at one.

your a moron if u dont think that deserved a review

sure didnt look like a TD

not hard to be 10-0 when you get this kind of favorable officiating

also not hard to see why Brady never gets sacked when the OL can basically pull, grab and even tear at opponents arms and jerseys the way I've seen tonight

David
It's been awhile since I've hated a team so much.

no, sorry, you need to go back and look again, becuase you are clearly and completely wrong.

it was definitely reviewable

it's just strange that the people upstairs didn't even bother to give it a second look

My god, is it possible hate Keith Olbermann any more than I already do?

Call me a moron.

A review would have been a waste of time.
whenever its close it deserves a review everytime when its the refs job in the final 2 minutes. maybe it was a TD but it needed to be checked!

His shin/ankle touched in bounds first. That makes him in bounds. Now someone said that the ball moved and I didn't even consider that. That would have made it no TD.

Seemed appropriate for all the conspiracy folks in this thread.

I thought they would review that because the ball might have touched the ground. His feet were in, I just wasn't sure of the ball staying in his hands. What was the reasoning for having the booth reviews in 2mins in the first place? They're doing poorly.

the refs got it right floks, quit the complaining...there is enough legit stuff to complain about...we dont need to go making BS up.
