Eagles vs Bears - Black Friday Thread

I'm highly anticipating this game, so I'm pre-preparing already. Besides Cowboys/Chiefs, this is the only game this weekend I'm guaranteed to watch attentively.

Bears schedule remaining:

Eagles
Packers
Browns
Packers
49ers
Lions

Oof..... and I wouldn't count out the Browns either. They can severely limit and frustrate their opponents, and they have a new QB. I think they can definitely go 2-4 and the final game of the year could end up being who gets in Lions or Bears.... only one of the 2. But maybe they'll both go out. If we can beat Detroit next week, we'll be the #8 team.

Niners or Seahawks going out seem difficult.

The Cowboys are 3 games behind the Bears (wildcard) and 3 games behind the Eagles (division).

At the moment, if the Bears collapse and lose 3+ games and the Cowboys win out, they would overtake the Bears for the (at that time) 7th seed.

If the Eagles collapse and lose 3+ games and the Cowboys win out, they would win the division and would likely have the 3rd or 4th seed and a home game.

What matters most about the Eagles-Bears game is that whoever loses it needs to keep losing games the rest of the season to help the Cowboys.

I just hope whoever loses looks really bad in the loss so hopefully it makes them more likely to lose more games in the coming weeks.

The Browns might beat the 49ers this week. If the Browns do win, they can get back in the playoff race and their game against the Bengals could mean something in January.

Absolutely they can. Browns aren't like the Raiders, Jets, or Titans. They have a pulse. and 49ers typically struggle against them. Or the AFC North.

It is also a WC team traveling for an early game.

I hope it's a good game. having 5 straight days of NFL & college ball is so much fun

What channel is this game on. I found it on some obscure philly station. But I'm assuming it's nationally televised.

It’s a Prime game but it’s being shown locally in Philly and Chicago I believe. Fox has it in Philly.

Im torn on this game. Obviously we always root against the iggles. In terms of the playoffs, bears have far and away the toughest schedule. But they have the tie breaker on us but does it even matter given the tie? I guess it doesn’t.

So yeah, I guess rooting against the bears makes the most sense.

The Bears don’t have a tiebreaker advantage.
