You fail to comprehend. Eagles aren't doing all-in, as how Jerrah is putting it, all or nothing. They've been relevant and made the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years.

Dallas, who Jerrah claims is doing it right every year, has made it half the time in the last 6 years. And this is a good stretch for them in the last 3 decades.

The Eagles ownership and general management is running circles around Jerrah long term, not just this year.

They didn't sign free agents to long contracts that will hang over their heads for years. They simply used free agency to plug holes exceptionally well. Who cares if a number of them expire at the end of this season. Does anyone actually believe their GM won't find a way to retool?

Correct… And even if they sign the guy just for one year, guess who gets the compensatory draft pick if the ‘rented’ player plays well and earns a longer term contract elsewhere?

They could literally sign a guy for just one year and he balls out to prove himself…and the Eagles end up getting a 3rd or 4th round pick if he leaves. That’s using the system to your advantage, it’s not going all in.
