He was giving examples of teams that went all-in and had success in the all-in seasons. Obviously anybody would do that if they were guaranteed those results.

The problems with all-in are the teams that tried it and failed. Skins, pre-2014 Cowboys, etc..

Comparison
You are including the all-in seasons. If teams suffered from all-in it would be in the non all-in years.
No…he mistakenly labeled the Eagles seasons as going “all-in”. Neither really were.

The only time Howie really tried to go all in was the Dream Team year.

He’s been much more creative in maneuvering/acquiring draft capital since then. What Howie is doing can hardly be considered ‘all-in’

It was a jealous, dishonest, narcissistic rant. It's like seeing another guy with the beautiful girl and saying "I could have had her too, I just chose not to". Meanwhile rubbing out dreaming of her every night.

From 2017-2022 (6 seasons)

Eagles:
58-39-1
Playoffs 5/6 years
6-3 playoff record
2 Super Bowls, 1 win (so far)

Cowboys:
57-41
Playoffs 3/6 years
2-3 playoff record
0 Super Bowls, 0 Conference Championships

Tell us again, you drunk old fool, how you play for being good very year, while the Eagles take an "all-in" get lucky approach.

It's depressing and disgusting that this lying deluded buffoon is the face of our once proud franchise.
And the Eagles are doing it the right way. Not too many blockbuster trades, good drafting and good coaching. I have a deep-seated hatred for them obviously, but you kinda gotta respect it.

That said, Go Chiefs. Jk, I don't care. I haven't been watching any football since the playoff loss.

You fail to comprehend. Eagles aren't doing all-in, as how Jerrah is putting it, all or nothing. They've been relevant and made the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years.

Dallas, who Jerrah claims is doing it right every year, has made it half the time in the last 6 years. And this is a good stretch for them in the last 3 decades.

The Eagles ownership and general management is running circles around Jerrah long term, not just this year.

Get it yet?

He's full of it and lying and stretching to defend his crappy tenure as GM since Jimmy left.

If you wanna defend Jerrah's babbling nonsense excuse making go right ahead.
Anyone who describes this Eagles season as all in is either lying or a blind homer. They didn't mortgage the future - far from it they have 2 first rounders coming up as we all know. They didn't sign free agents to long contracts that will hang over their heads for years. They simply used free agency to plug holes exceptionally well. Who cares if a number of them expire at the end of this season. Does anyone actually believe their GM won't find a way to retool?

Correct… And even if they sign the guy just for one year, guess who gets the compensatory draft pick if the ‘rented’ player plays well and earns a longer term contract elsewhere?

They could literally sign a guy for just one year and he balls out to prove himself…and the Eagles end up getting a 3rd or 4th round pick if he leaves. That’s using the system to your advantage, it’s not going all in.
