Just recently a poster criticized the Cowboy coaching staff for not giving Dak the "entire playbook" and making him too cautious to make potential game saving plays. Wendt gave us an example of the flipside of that particular philosophy.

Wendt may have better pure passing skills but Dak is smarter, better prepared,more confident and more competitive in my opinion.

This makes up for the Cowboys passing on Joe Montana because they felt they needed a TE more.
