I dont think anyone ever goes by past sucess. Eagles had a dominating run over the years. We've owned the Commanders for several years, thoose are both facts. I dont think anyone uses that as to how they will do this year.

I like Jason Cambell btw. More than Eli Manning.

I dont know how you can be confident in Mcnabb coming back 100%
I know the media will never say one bad thing about him, but he is a major question mark.
I wouldnt be shocked to see the Eagles take a QB in round 2 or 3

I am going to say the same things I said about the Eagles last season.

Until someone in the East proves that they are going to overtake them, I see no reason they can't remain the class of the division, as they have for 5 years or so.

There will be a major dropout in the Philly this year. Last year was not an abberation. McNabb and the Eagles were headed for no better than 7-9 maybe 8-8.... McNabb plays whole year this year and they fall... HARD.... 5-11.... McNabb blames injury and city/media let him off the hook and STILL find a way to praise him..... amazing really

First, thanks WG for an interesting read.

Obviously, many of the posters here are feeling threatened over nothing! This is only one person's opinion. Smart Eagle fans realize that none of our games will be cake walks. More importantly, the players and coaches realize that fact.

Our record does not indicate that we'll be superbowl winners, as many of you already know we have never won a "Superbowl" (NFL Championship ...yes!) and there's no reason why we should be considered to be a threat to win it in 2007. But instead of demonstrating your confidence through matchups, your strong draft picks, and FA pickups, ...they chose to redicule through jokes and flames, and simple little emoticons that are meaningless.

Look it's too earl to even predict preseason games! But some of you, including the writer of the article, are placing the Eagles on a pedestal. The only surprise here is that none of you have predicted any scores yet.

To those knowledgeable Cowboy fans, I'll say that we have Eagle fans who do the same thing ...but there's No Eagle fans here that will make foolish predictions without at least trying to justify it through the Xs and the Os!

So have your fun now ...but all I know is that Eagles will be ready to contend with all opponents ...including the Cowboys!

Good luck Cowboy fans ...at least when you play opponents outside of the NFC-East!

Hey buddy, I'm a Cowboys fan in the heart of Eagles country. Every eagles fan I run into, and there are a lot of them, swear they are going to the Super Bowl this year. Nobody is giving the Cowboys a chance in hell with Wade Phillips as HC. (Even I have my doubts that Wade will be a good HC) I do think the Cowboys do have the talent, top 5 offense and some good young players on Defense. I think Wade can get them to play a better 3-4 then BP could ever do. i do think the east is going to either Dallas or Philly this year just because the Giants lost Tiki and will have to rely on Manning. I couldn't tell you about the Commanders, they really could be the sleeper in the east this year.

And 10-6 would be a big dissapoinment for me, if that's what they finished with. I don't think they should go below 13-3.

I think that they beat Green Bay but go 4-2 in the division. Give them a loss in Dallas and another one in New York. That puts them at 9-7.

A WR corp led by Reggie Brown, Greg Lewis, and some guy named Hank Baskett

Two of their top 3 offensive linemen on the major downside of their career

Lost their best defensive tackle

I think 10-6 is probable and realistic for philly, be sure to hold HH to his promise if you are correct however.
