The Eagles aren't going 13 & 3 dude. I think they'll probably win the division again with possibly a 10 & 6 record.

I'm not a moderator here (though I would be proud to have the current moderators as my colleagues), but I think I'd have problems with side bets on MBs. I think I'll take this to a thread ...but in the interim ...

This so-called bet isn't legal, justifiable, nor practical. But that has been your entire montra since you've been here. Interesting how you always seem to bump heads with opponent fans simply because they are from a different team. It's probably just me, but you always seem to be insulting; not only to opponent fans but even to some of your own colleagues/cohorts.

That said, you have no authority to suspend Timbo2st or anyone else here ...Albeit losing a wager to you or otherwise. Everyone that's been here for any lengthy period of time knows how you'd like to become a moderator ...but you're not. I can tell you from personal experience that moderators are tolerant, patient, and make good sound decisions (sometimes against their own better judgement). Can you measure-up to those standards without compromising the your integrity ... don't answer that, we already know the answer. Moderators do not make an "NFL regular-season standing" prediction before we even enter into the pre-season. That said, you could have at least had the decency and respect for our moderators here to coordinate with them about this so-called wager ...you didn't!

Finally, you're quick to holler the "T-word" while fitting all of the characteristics prominent to being one. This Isn't about degrading an opponent fan, or luring him/her into an unhealthy wager, this is about good healthy competition between our respective teams. Sure I think my team is better than yours, but I respect my opponents to feel the exact same way.

Your so-called wager is whack, and void without moderator(s) sanctions (see my upcoming thread about ...side bets.

The Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers were/are pitiful this year.

Notre Dame got blown out by LSU. They seem allergic to winning a bowl game lately.

You guys are really wasting your time. You won't need a 45-day ban if the Eagles have a losing season. I live in Philly and I can tell you, as passionate as they are, if they're 5-8 heading into December, Timbo will be no where to be found.

Want proof? Go look at the CZ archives during the recent Eagles' 6-10 season. The Eagles' fans disappeared from this board (for more than 45 days). But the year they went to the Superbowl, they were unbearable.

Cowboys fans get a bad reputation for being front runners - especially the ones that live in Philly. But I maintain that those of us who stuck around through those three 5-11 seasons have more staying power than these so-called passionate Eagles' fans any day.
