In case this has already been addressed I apologize but any word on Ealy's visit? Did he show up? Get a contract? Tour JerryWorld? Inquiring(read: simple) minds want to know.

If we offer, he goes back to the Jets (who have offered I believe) to see if he gets more money. I give it 3-5 days

Ealy was cut by Carolina and New England before the Jets took him in. Not sure he'll blossom in Dallas but he's worth a try. A rotational piece, perhaps? To be fair, he was playing for a 3-4 team with the Jets and did better -- would he be a good fit with the C'boys and their 4-3? Maybe we'll see.

PS. What many folks don't realize is not paying state income tax is huge. If money is even close he will sign here because he won't be paying a rate of at least 6.85 percent to the state of New York. If he got a million dollar signing bonus, NY state would be taking him at 8.82 percent. That's a boat load of coin.

He might be better suited in our 4-3 with less weight, not that it's impossible for him to lose some. I'm curious as to how much he weighs now. Also, that baggy T-shirt in the pic doesn't do him any favors, so there's that to consider.
