Earl Thomas status?

What does it say? to me it says they are used differently. Believe me, if Muschamp wanted to use Thomas on the blitz or LOS he would. Instead, Thomas is the center fielder.

We've seen Berry used as a center fielder and as a blitzer and he's excelled at both. While I agree that Thomas is used as a center fielder the majority of the time, it's wrong to assume he'd be just as good in another role.

Earl Thomas would be a great pick for us and its within the realm of reason that he might be there when we pick, although some mocks have the Squealers taking him (seems to me they will need some OL but we'll see). However, I'm not that quick to get rid of Hamlin and/or Sensabaugh. I really think Sensi needs resigning immediately. Hamlin hasn't made as many INTs as we'd like but he and the D hasn't been beaten deep either. Sure Thomas is an upgrade, but Hamlin is a vet. That said, Thomas will be the BPA if there is a run on OTs like I suspect and McClain, Haden, and Dez are gone.
