The fact that Dallas will be dumpster diving yet again in FA, we are not adding to the roster (so far, and not any players that will be starters)
There is no way in hell we could give up a first and 3rd, or even anything close.
I would have a hard time trading up for James or anyone in the draft that would cost us picks.
Our, first, second and third round picks MUST now become starters or at least big time contributors, to this team.
Like it or not, we ARE losing the NFL arms race.

people understand you start negotiations asking high and work back to something less, right?

I would part with a 2. That's it.
A two is steeeeeepppp erod... maybe next years 2, a conditional if maybe but man that's steep, because I personally think we could get 2 bonafide starters with the first 2 picks..ugggghh idk kinfolk...that's just a tad bit to rich to my liking

Give them a 2nd ,4th and Scandrick final offer.
A 4th & Scandrick..& we hammer home the message, we're taking his salary off yalls cap because in all actuality that's really why he's available. They like us are up against the Cap& in order to sign back Richardson or if they want to try & sign Suh, they gotta let a couple contacts go...so play hardball, they just bluffing because of that spectacle he did with Garrett & they feel we maybe desperate, so they trying to fleece. It's the American way;'-)

I’d gladly give them a 2 & a 4 since we have another 4th and usually always waste our 2nd pick anyways, and next years 3 since we’ll be getting a comp pick for Hitchens

Still too much. A 3rd plus Scandrick would be as high as I would go. And that's only if I could trade back up into the 3rd round later on. We have an extra 4th rounder and 5th rounder. Get me back into the 3rd round with a 4th and 5th and I'll bite.
That's actually a pretty good strategy. Offer Seattle a 3rd and Scandrick and they would probably turn around and tell us that they would rather just have a 4th round pick. lol

No safety in NFL history is worth a 1st and 3rd.

No player outside or a QB is worth that much.

The legalized substances must’ve made its way into the Seahawks GM’s office for sure.
This was floated by the Seahawks. He basically got proven to be a front office shill by pushing send on that tweet

What's it going to be then, eh?

Kavon is pretty smart. You don't want talent in here when you are trying to solidify your spot in the pecking order. He knows his competition.

This. I firmly believe that Seattle contacted the Cowboys first just to get the Cowboys' name out there and the bidding war started when there wasn't one to begin with. "What? The Cowboys are interested you say? We better hurry up and make a big offer." Play hardball and wait them out.
