With the draft being in Dallas. No way they are giving up a 1st and not having the spotlight on them during the 1st day of the draft. Will never happen.
Yeah, it would be really dumb considering we've actually been decent drafting in the 1st round the past ~7 years or so. Really the only duds over that time period were Claiborne and maybe Jones (I'm not giving up on Taco yet like many on this board)If that's what it takes to prevent it, fine with me. Giving up our first round pick to acquire Earl Thomas in 2018 would be a classic Jerry Move™.
We're already disappointed. This Thread is set for disappointment
Seattle has reason to not admit to shopping him. It reduces their leverage and alienates ET to admit so.
I would tell them they can have a 4th or we will just sign him next year when he is a FA.
Give them next year's 1st which would be the equivalent of a 2nd this year. Bring Thomas home!
Agree.
I want Thomas but i'm not giving up a 1 for a 28 year old.
I don't want Ridley because he's 24.
hell no,he is a FA after this year.nobody in their right mind should give seattle more than a 3rd for him .How would you feel about giving a 2019 1st rounder for Thomas?
It’s rumored he’s negotiating a new deal that would extend him. He’s worth more than a 3rd. He’s a top 3 safety in the league.hell no,he is a FA after this year.nobody in their right mind should give seattle more than a 3rd for him .
I can't see Dallas doing any trade without a long term deal agreed to.It’s rumored he’s negotiating a new deal that would extend him. He’s worth more than a 3rd. He’s a top 3 safety in the league.
