You have to step out of the end zone then run back in and get tackled for it to be a safety.
yes, but that isn't what he was talking about on that play. On that play DRC, on his own accord, ran out of the back of the end zone. He didn't go out because he was forced out or even his own momentum. He went from a stationary position in the end zone and then hopped out of bounds.....that is why it probably should have been a safety.

Just get home and see the the rams blew it ! what the hell happened 4 picks Giants are garbage and the luckiest team ever

Pick 6 to Collins
Pick off Austins head to set up touchdown
Easy pick for DRC
Quick stopped running and DRC fields a pick like a punt

It was the Rams...to be expected. I never really thought they would beat the Giants.
I honestly did - quinn back they flew days before the giants so no jet lag, circus lately in giant land i thought they would blow this for sure based on stats they had no Offense at all.

As soon as you step out of bounds the play is over. There is no opportunity to get tackled then.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. If a player steps out of the end zone into the field then backs up into the end zone again and is tackled then it is a safety. That's what happened in the scenarios you're talking about

There's nothing in the rules against that tho. If you get a pick in the end zone you can run out the back of the end zone, it has the same effect as taking a knee. You get the ball at the 20 yard line I.e. a touchback.

Well, with both of these clubs...you never know. Any team that has Jeff Fisher for a HC is bound to lose games. He is such a turd.

Safety for the offense, defense is a touchback. Been like that forever.
