If McCown was a better option they wouldn't have released him and resigned Cutler. McCown was a bust in Tampa lasting only one season. It's hard to find solid starting QBs teams don't make them available especially a QB that has an arm like Cutler.

Jesus Christ dude, please keep up. At the time, the second half of the 2013 season, McCown was the better option. He plays at a level consistently better than Cutler ever has. The truth is in the numbers.

You're the one keeping it up I'm not going to sit here arguing about Jay Cutler all day. McCown was a better option in your opinion not in the opinion of the Chicago Bears who had him for 3 seasons. The football Gods have been pretty good to us keeping us in the race at 4-8. It's not like the Cowboys haven't had plenty of opportunities this season to be in a better position right now.
