Early Game Thread

Bennett being done for the season isn't helping the Bears any.

The football Gods have been pretty good to us keeping us in the race at 4-8. It's not like the Cowboys haven't had plenty of opportunities this season to be in a better position right now.

should never have been in that position to begin with allowing Hicks to land juuuuuuuuuust right on Romo's shoulder

You're the one keeping it up I'm not going to sit here arguing about Jay Cutler all day. McCown was a better option in your opinion not in the opinion of the Chicago Bears who had him for 3 seasons. He's long gone so who do the Bears have that's a better option than Cutler? Answer it or move on!

Cutler is so bad. Have no idea how he's held the starting position so long.

This refers to 2006-2015, not just THIS year. This includes 2013 when they had a clear option to bench him and go with the hot hand. They had a chance to move on from him when his contract was up, there was Manziel, Bridgewater, and Derek Carr they could have drafted, instead, they gave Cutler a multi-year, franchise QB like deal.

Refer back to my post, I will quote again because you tend to ignore arguments often.

That was the argument, I have yet to hear an argument from you that he's a worthy starter in the ENTIRE time span. One more time, I will quote.

Hopefully you got it now.

Can't control a defender landing on your QBs shoulder that happens to QBs every year. It's the games the Cowboys have blown without Romo that's put them in a tough position. Just 2 wins during the first 7 games Romo was out would have the Cowboys in first place.

Answer the question who do the Bears have at QB that's a better option than Cutler?

Tim Hightower hasn't played in the NFL since 2011 but he has looked decent (edit: he's been really good) for the Saints today

Hasselbeck may be done looks like a shoulder injury.

You think the Bears would have been better off with Manziel? LOL
