I also remember James Starks having a big day as well. Our def was just God awful that year. They’re pretty bad now but 2013 was just pathetic.

Right now the defense is on track to perform worse statistically....

Considering where he was drafted, it would have been worth the risk.

The Niners have been in every game since their first one:

3 point loss
2 point loss
3 point loss (OT)
3 point loss (OT)

They'll get momentum if they win. But losing close games is their norm.
