Well, Well, Well looks like the great Mahomes couldn't overcome his defense giving up 40 points either.

k? From the little I've seen 7 of that is a direct result of the offense giving the ball away. Points don't tell a whole story, this generalization of everything needs to stop.

A lot of base 34 defenses go to a four man line in nickle and dime. They're still a zone blitz 34 base.

I think its telling though what teams do when they need a stop and it seems like more times than not its not a 3-4 base when you need a stop.

It's not just about "needing a stop" it's about maximizing your personnel. They go to a four man line with Watt at DE, two backers, and 5 DB. So in reality, it's still a 3 man line just with a backer having his hand in the dirt.

That he throws bad passes? Its not rare. Not at all. He's a gun slinger. ESPN never shows the mistakes and no doubt he's the best QB in the league.....but the guy throws some bad football but you take the bad because the good outweighs it.
