How in the heck did teams not pick up on Mahomes' talent?

The Bears are really what messed it all up. That 2017 pick is their Sam Bowie moment. It’s inexcusable to miss on Mahomes and Watson.

no this is the second time we lost martin and lost 2 starting lines and 2 qbs and many defenders not even close. and that in a new systems trying to implemented with our new staff

right Ray Charles is that you , he can see the problem cleaner then you..get passed it 17 injuries' a bunch 6 were PBs 7 were starters you cant win with a jv team...

the new staff was handed a disaster and then the disaster lit of fire and became an impossible task..

be in denial because you like to hate on jerry but the Facts are facts no coach could win with this mess but add it it was year pone with no off season at all ..NONE

Agree to rabidly disagree. Madden AI would’ve been better seriously. Level of effort and preparedness is sporadic and inconsistent which speaks directly to coaching. Play calling is at times purely insane. We’re not the only team to deal with massive amounts of injuries but like always we are one of teams that often look like a joke unless we’re at 100%.
