I was NEVER one of the fans on this board that bagged on Marty B as a PLAYER. This organization had no idea what to do with him...which begs the question....WHY did we spend a 2nd round pick on a TE when we had one? And then WHY did we do it AGAIN! There are PLENTY of backup TEs that can be found in the middle rounds. Just absurd that we get no explanation for the use of these premium resources. Even if I disagreed with the explanation....I would just like to know what the organization was thinking.

Because he wasn't a RKG.

Somehow he's all right for Chicago, though.

Just another scapegoat for someone... And this time it's not Jerry.

Bennet himself has said he wasn't a good player in his earlier years. He said he's really put it all together this last year and it comes to hi a lot easier. Bennet was not a good player here in Dallas.

we made a grave error not drafting jj watt.

I refuse to agree with you on the shear principal of it, however, the fact one could even make a reasonable case that the Cowboys might have made a mistake when they drafted a 10 year All-Pro Left Tackle at a very minimum tells you how amazing a player Watt is.

i dont think its a grave error,we got a franchise LT who can play for 15 years here if things go well.

I agree. A grave error would have been passing on both Smith and Watt. Getting either guy would have been good for Dallas.

If you wait long enough, "Bad Jay" (Cutler) will always emerge.
