Cool...that is Nick Foles shot-putting his way to a first down on third and long. Bad...the ensuing fumble that negates it!

no doubt. i don't doubt that at all. while the obstacles are different the road can be rougher having to prove yourself from an unknown. if you're drafted at the top of the class you dont have the same obstacles as an undrafted. your set of obstacles are different but you at least get first dibs. but to have the career Romo is having and being undrafted. thats not something that happens often at all.

Romo faced tremendous challenges just making an NFL roster and becoming a starting QB but once a QB becomes a starter they all face the same obstacles. The higher the draft status of a player the more that's expected from them. They're made instant millionaires and along with the money comes a lot of expectations and heavy scrutiny.

I just don't get it. Romo is a great QB and we all know that, so why do we have to tear down other great QBs in order to try and prove our point?

It's possible....for Romo and Luck to both be very good QBs.

agreed. i was just responding from a poster who said they would pick Luck over Romo. thats when the comparisons started for me.

understood. but you gotta admit the scrutiny from being a starter QB in jacksonville is different than being a starting QB in Dallas.

seahawks are going to score a TD here, that was a killer fumble.

Damn the Colts are overrated. Such media darlings, and they're getting whooped. Will they continue to get the benefit of the doubt after this debacle? Probably.
