Why would you want our division rival to have a chance at the best player in the draft? We could have the worse qb in the division in 2 years.

Because often the "best player in the draft" is normally a QB and most of the time, that pick is not a game changer because the majority of teams in the sport can't evaluate QBs to begin with.

That means a rebuild.

What would you do if Garrett called the same play in the same situation?
