The skins are in as bad of an overall position as any team since I’ve been watching football which is at least 40 years. From ownership to players/coaches to stadium workers to the fans, it is as bad as it gets. The owner has totally ruined a once proud franchise that was a pillar of the league. They once had like 50,000 people waiting decades for the chance to buy season tickets. Being a Commanders season ticket holder meant everything in DC. Now that stadium is routinely taken over by the visiting team’s fans, the fan base has been so beaten down most don’t care at all anymore, stadium workers and front office peo0le are simply quitting their jobs, and they are in the 6th year of a head coach that never had any business being a NFL head coach but he was the only one willing to take that job. They will have to go that same route to replace him because no one serious about their career will take that job. One of their team leader, Trent Williams, is still holding out because he claims the team and training staff mishandled a medical issue that could have been life threatening before getting the final diagnosis. The players appear to not really care on the field and their head coach just insulted their 1st round QB and hope for the future by saying he didn’t want to start him until the season was lost. I don’t see how it can get much worse or recall any team being in this bad of shape.

You don’t. Jay Gruden is being stubborn and there’s a good chance he’s going to be fired if they lose this game.
