Early Games Thread

This Eagles game is proving, that it's always dangerous when you're up against a team playing for nothing but pride. They are really going to have to regroup after this one because it's not going to be gimmee games just because of the records. It more than likely will come down to the Dallas/ Philly game regardless.

they changed the rule

The rule was changed.

It wouldn’t be a catch under the old (dez) rules.

That catch had nothing to do with the new rule. It would have been good under the old going to the ground rule as well because the ball never touched the ground until AFTER the receiver was down and the DB ripped it out. The receiver had already survived the ground.

It seems nobody wants to win the NFC East.
If Jason Garrett fails to clinch the division, there is no question he should be out as coach.

Imagine a defense that can stop the run when they know the run is coming. As bad they've been, at least the Eagles D can do that.

he was going to the ground and made a football move. new rule saved that catch. Did you not even listen to the rules analyst when they called him in? Are you saying he just spewed made up stuff talking about the new rule?
