Early games thread

The Rams ain’t that great either. The Niners ran all over them a few weeks back to the tune of 31-10.
The first round isn't the big problem. The big problem is having to go to the north pole the next week to play the rested #1 seed who also happens to feature the best quarterback of all time.

In my opinion, you’re still talking about Brady.
System Tom isn't the one who can throw a 110 yard perfect spiral from one endzone to the back of the other end zone on one leg with a defender bearing down on him.... complete for the touchdown, no flags.

That team is always going to be a problem. But I'd worry more about the quarterback that collects Lombardi's over the one that collects MVPs.

Playoff seeding, except for the 1 seed, has never been more irrelevant as long as Ive been watching the NFL, and that goes back to 1977.
2,3,4 seed makes ZERO difference.

Since 1977, have the Cowboys ever been to a SB when not either the 1 or 2 seed? And I think it's true for 7 of the 8 super bowls they've been to.

We don't have to like it, but he's probably right. Not about head and shoulders above the rest, because I don't think there is a big gap between Brady and Rodgers. But I think you can make an argument that Rodgers is the more talented QB. But who cares? The goal is winning. Tampa is actively trying to put the better team on the field while GB is more concerned about who Rodger's replacement will be. Brady's cap hit is 10 million while Rodgers is at 27 million. One of these two are stacking the deck in his favor. That's what matters, and that more often than not is what pays off. So who cares who's better? Who wins?

Is that the same poster who claimed that one of the problems with Dak was that he started off games slowly? Heinicke didn't even had one hundred yards at one point in this game and finally just scored 14 points in the 4th quarter and he praise for how he is playing in this game and crowned as a better QB over Dak?
more then one still think a spare jag bus driver is better than paying dak 40mil..i get the contract is high but man this is out of control..

I don't. Parsons Left edge + Gregory Right edge + Lawrence 5 tech (LDE) + Odighizuwa/Gallimore 3 tech (RDE) can all get to Brady. Brady doesn't have the mobility to escape at age 44, and he didn't really even at 24 either. The other guy is also pushing 40 but in his prime he was Josh Allen athletically and he still has most of that. You think you have a guaranteed sack on third and eight and instead he runs right up the gut for 9 yards and a slide and a fresh set of downs.. Ugggggggghhhhh

You are like Clint Eastwood in Grand Torino yelling at kids to get off your lawn.

This is not the 70s, and it is not the 90s. Just curious, how many of those Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl teams played under the Salary Cap?
I would love to see the stats on the first 25 super bowl winners that were either 1 or 2 seeds. Then look at the stats and see the % of Super Bowl winners since that are the 1 or 2 seeds.

Do you actually think those numbers would be close? In THIS ERA, not the era where we still milked our cows, it makes no difference where you play and what seed you are. Like I said, the 1 seed gets the bye, AND they showed they were the best team in the reg season..... so they have an advantage. Nobody else does.
