TJ Watt … reported torn pectoral muscle … if true, he is probably down for the season, depending the severity I guess.
Not sure, but even if partially torn, is that still a long term recovery time.
Big oof.

Well i'll say this....if today is any indication? Cowboys won't have to worry about Philly against the run because if they give up 200 then Philly will give up 300. Their run defense looks like ASSSSSS.

I think we matchup with Philly really well. We have a single LBer that can eliminate Hurtz and his running ability. I thought Philly was supposed to have an excellent DLine yet they got GASHED. Swift had 150 on only 10 carries

We have a lot of people here scared of a little competition in the NFC East this year.

And don't forget, both of them also lost those games. They did everything they could to lose them. And it was the Lions and Jags, bottom feeders. Eagles did this last year. Hurts and the offense looked outstanding against the Lions. Instantly, Cowboys fans on here shaking in their boots. Saying they are the real deal.

Their defense is still very bad.

I will never worry about a Wentz led team. Ever.

Don't you remember the Eagles blowing up the Lions last year and people praising them? Lions aren't a good team. Also, they almost let them come back and win. Their defense is still swiss cheese.

The Lions kept battling today. If you want to underestimate Philly go ahead.

Is that a actual stat? He had less than 3 seconds to throw twice? That can't be right.
One thing I pay great attention to is line play. Hurts doesn’t step into the pocket, has poor vision, and locks onto a receiver too often. I am a line nerd since my playing and coaching days. I keep a counter and check plays all game. Yes, I do this and maybe I’m a bit weird, but line play determines the outcome of games more than anything else. I was counting and saying to myself if we had their line, we would be legit contenders. That line is wasted on Hurts.

Kind of interesting. Tyron smith and JJ Watt. Taken the same draft. We’re absolutely elite of the elite but then their careers cut relatively short by injuries.

It’s a shame. I think peak JJ was more special at his position than Tyron though. And Tyron seemed to stay healthy for longer. He does appear he’s past his prime, but he was able to stay healthy throughout his prime years. JJ missed big chunks in the middle of his prime.

Kyle Murray ... plays such a scattered, scared mousy game ... and he doesn't see the entire field

wideout targets and he just doesn't see them
