I say it all falls to the HC never said otherwise. However over the 6 weeks of winning I seen many saying Jason did nothing it was Linehan and Marnelli but hit a bump in the road and it is Garrett. Sorry hypocrisy and agenda around here sucks. You want to blame Jason (not you imparticular) then give him credit as well but to claim he has nothing to do with the wins but the loses are on his it complete BS

Speaking only for me, I'm not so sure what Garrett should get credit for when were 6 and 1. We hadn't made the playoffs, won a playoff game or gone to the SB but folks were claiming the process was complete. The book on Garrett will be written after the season. What I do know is that the HC has to address these issues and find solutions during the season. That's part of the "process" which will lead to the credit when the season's over.

I agree that the final judgement falls when the season is done but still to act as if he has nothing to do with the team until they lose then it is his fault. lol I'm sorry that is lame. It is easy around here to see those who do not like Garrett will refuse any credit for anything but quick to dump on him while they heap praise on Linehand or Marinelli. Same goes for Jerry, a player is a hit well Jerry had nothing to do with it that was someone else, but as soon as a player bust that is Jerry fault. I’m sorry I can’t play that game it reeks of hypocrisy

For 6 games in a row I was informed Garrett had nothing to do with any of this and now in the last 2 weeks it is on him. lol

folks are a little shocked at the dropoff after a single player is lost. we thought we were past putting the entire franchise on romo's back. bruce arians has lost one game while playing 3 qbs this year. mark sanchez came in and did fine vs the texans in a hostile environment on the road. garrett has been here 7+ years now yet still does not have a plug and play system yet.

Weeden playing that poorly no doubt hurt, a quality defense who is great vs run choose to stack the line and force Weeden to beat them and he failed. I think had Weeden showed something the results of the game could have very well been different. I don't know. Anyone thinking that all we had to do is run Murray vs a top run defense and did not have to throw was kidding themselves.

I agree. The Cardinals actually being very good is what determined the outcome. I have my doubts we win this game with Romo. We need to be hitting on all cilinders to compete with elite teams.

Well, all the credit he was receiving was for gracefully giving away responsibilities by some;) Nothing related to his regime was displayed during that stretch as has been well versed in this forum. They ain't working right now (OC/DC) so no longer acceptable to stand and nod...get back to work(JG) with the help of the coaches that gave you 6-3 of course.

It was Garrett and the entire staff and players. As for loses yes those too fall at his feet and those of the staff and players. Kind of works that way. I know for many it is easier to just point the finger at 1 but just as it is with winning the same holds true for losing it is a team issue. Since I have been coming to this sight I have never gave credit to only 1 person nor have I ever put blame on one.
As HC he must take the blunt of it good and bad

All credit he was getting? Not by many here but hey I agree it is on him to get this train back on the tracks. All I have asked of some is consistency if you are willing to blame him for the bad then he should be given credit for the good.

You are correct Dooms...and I really see this as the make or break point for JG in terms of this credit we are speaking of. If he rights the ship, than it would be much clearer that his influence is critical (even with the benefits of Lin/Mar). If he gets this team to win a playoff game even I would acknowledge he deserves the extension (and credit as well).

I pretty much agree. Other teams and HC also run into these bumps in the road and how they get it back on track will determine a lot.

Lol, you are fooling yourself if you think this is a make of break for Garrett. This team can go without winning another game this year and Garrett will be back

Garrett is here at least until romo is here to keep us competitive

Once romo goes , you will see the real process

Garrett can keep Jags guessing all week as he pleases about Romo's status for Sunday. Bottom line is he and his staff better devise a game plan that produces a victory. No matter who starts at QB.

No excuses for losing against the Jags.

The Jags will game-plan for Romo. They don't really need to game-plan for Weeden.

The automatic game-plan if Weeden is the QB is to use 2 DBs to cover 3 receivers and use 9 against the run.
