Dak and company will run the table
Of course they will with Dak at the helm.
Finally, our superstar quarterback can prove he is worthy of the big money.
And when they hoist that Super Bowl trophy at the end of the season, Jerry will need to get to work on a new contract that will make him the highest paid quarterback in the NFL.
Dak has no excuses. The Cowboys are through the toughest part of the Schedule, winning 4 and losing 1 under a backup quarterback.
Now he has the season by the tail on a downhill pull.
No excuses.

You call marching down the field against our #1 defense"scratching and clawing?" Maybe we watched two different games. What I saw was our D struggling to stop the eagles scoring drive after we pulled within 3 pts..
That's the only good drive they had in the 2nd half. Defense was worn out from being on the field for 35 minutes.

Had Rush not turned the ball 3 times the defense wouldn't have been in a hole. It was the defense that kept it from being much worse

Different teams rise up every year because they jell as the season progresses, make trades that help them or injuries decimate teams that would have been stronger, etc. Easiest remaining schedules is interesting, but doesn't really mean much. I think of that 2007 Giants team. For much of the season, they didn't even look like a playoff team. Then, their defense found its stride, they found a running attack and they won a Super Bowl. We had looked like a front-runner for the Super Bowl, but got caught in their wake.

Yeah, sure. Our schedule is easier than Philly. Even though we’re always the underdog, even though we’ve already played and beaten last year’s Super Bowl teams. Just like when the Eagles or certain other teams win, it’s a good win, but Dallas beats the same teams and “haven’t played anyone”!

remaining schedule. it's a formula not an opinion

I get 2015 Carolina Panthers vibes from this Eagles team. And Carolina made the SB. I'm not certain at all Philly will. Heck, Philly may even turn into the 2020 Steelers.

Carolina had a ridiculously easy schedule that year. They nearly blew a huge lead before getting a win over Seattle. Arizona had key injuries. Carolina won. In the SB, Denver exposed all of the Panthers holes. They couldn't block an elite defense. They had no stud receivers getting open. The QB who faced no adversity all season was completely lost.

Philly has gotten alot of luck thus far. But in the postseason, I'd be stunned if this team beat at least three very good to elite teams.

Good point, Philly hasn't played an elite defense yet.

Outside of Detroit (who scored 35 pts on them) the next highest offense they’ve faced is 14th in pts scored. Then it’s 16th, 22nd,23rd and 29th. The only teams left on their schedule this year, as of now, that aren’t in the 20-32 range in offense are New Orleans (12) and Giants (18). They won’t face a single top 10 scoring offense again this year in the regular season. You can’t control who you play but there should be some perspective of how great defenses are when you look at who they have to face.

They aren't finishing undefeated.
Remember the Steelers were on a run w/10 consecutive games a couple years ago? They had a very easy schedule only to lose the 1st round in the playoffs.

There is no way the Egals will beat the 72' Dolphins nor the the 2007 Patriots who were the first NFL team to achieve a perfect 16-0 regular season record, & seemed destined to go down as the greatest team ever until their stunning defeat/upset in Super Bowl XLII by your truly, NY Giants!

I understood what you said. It made no sense in relation to this thread.

evidently not, because my comment was originally aimed at the erroneous perceptions fostered by the media.

Right. Which has nothing to do w this thread. And nobody had Dallas having an easier schedule than Philly entering the season. That’s just dumb.

Pointing out an “easy” schedule is my whole point, so IMHO, it has A LOT to do with this thread. But you can think whatever you want. I just don’t agree. Buh-bye!

Yeah this a good comparison to that Steelers team. No one ever thought that team was legit. There is something about this Eagles team that I feel the same way. They just don't have that dominance and total command of the game that a great team should have. They get out to a big lead and then just kind of hold on. Hurts is not a passer. I feel like when we start to get later in the season teams will start catching on to what they are doing and they will start to lose some games.

Quick question..Quinn had 5 games worth of video to see what the eagles (hurts) were doing on offense. Did he figure it out? The eagles drove down the field for their final score and we couldn't stop them. It's pretty obvious what they did.
