There really isn’t anything easy about the remaining schedule outside of Detroit (who is scary good on offense) and Chicago.

@ Green Bay is always brutal
@ Minnesota who is 5-1
New York is 5-1
Colts are above .500
Texans should be an easy game
@ Jacksonville is very winnable
Eagles are elite
@ Titans who will be playing for possibly the playoffs
@ Washington likely playing for top 5 pick

All are very winnable. But outside of Washington and Houston is could be tough. We play 3 playoff teams in a row and two of them are on the road.
Every single game is tough.

there's also a zero chance we beat them on Christmas Day.... since we play them on Christmas Eve
It all depends. They could possibly have the division and 1 seed locked up. If they continue to win and we lose one more, we remain 3+ back. If they sweep the Giants they will remain 3+ back.

I don’t think the game will mean much come Christmas.

When they come to Dallas, they easily should be 13-2, 14-1

Yeah, sure. Our schedule is easier than Philly. Even though we’re always the underdog, even though we’ve already played and beaten last year’s Super Bowl teams. Just like when the Eagles or certain other teams win, it’s a good win, but Dallas beats the same teams and “haven’t played anyone”!
Read carefully….it says REMAINING schedule.

Last year’s Super Bowl teams haven’t been good this year. We should be underdogs in a lot of games this season we’ve been playing with a backup QB and looked awful in the season opener with our starter. Even the Bucs haven’t looked that good but they looked good against us. The Cowboys have a lot of doubters because of how things have been going for the organization the past 2+ decades. They didn’t do crap during the offseason, causing everyone to be down on them. We lost to a real good Philly team last week and we’re not going to get respect until we start beating teams like that.

This is about the "remaining" schedule, so who the Cowboys have already played is irrelevant to the topic.

Besides, this separates the Cowboys and Philly by only one spot, so it's not as if it claims Dallas has a significantly easier schedule then Philly. It's saying the remainder of the schedule is easy for both. Probably the only thing that separated them is the Cowboys have the Lions on their schedule and Philly doesn't.

True, although my point remains—the media always seems to advance the notion that Dallas always has things laid out for them, that Jerry bought their success, that they got “lucky”.

Yeah I agree. Let's pump the breaks on the Eagles anointing here. They got taken to the brink by the Cardinals. If Noah Brown' butt lands an inch or two south then we score a TD at the end of the half which would mean we start the 4th with a 21-20 lead instead of a 20-17 deficit. We played arguably the 2nd worst game of the season on offense and defense and still made it interesting.

The Eagles are good. The best in the league right now. I don't believe they will stay the best in the league. But Hurts is not Brady. Siriano or whatever his name is, is not belichick. Their TE isn't Gronk. If the prime Patriots didn't go undefeated then these Eagles won't.

While I believe the Eagles to be a very good team and one of the favorites to win the NFC for now, I do not believe that they're the juggernaut or the undisputed most unstoppable and unbeatable team in the NFL like some were making them out to be. I wasn't impressed that they had to pull out a close 4th quarter game against a backup QB who gave them 3 INTS. And still believe that teams with better offenses and more efficient to great QBs can exploit them, especially if the Eagles offense continues to go into the 2nd half of games struggling to score points, then it's going to catch up to them in a few games in the regular season and for sure in the playoffs where QB and offensive play ticking up a notch is the key to many teams advancing.

no eagles fans call the eagles a juggernaut either, we dont trust or believe the media even when it's licking the butt of the eagles. but the D line and secondaries have been sensational this year and hurts has improved a good deal, those are facts. we have a shot at a SB appearance , doesnt mean we can choke or have bad luck on the wildcard for exemple, but the future is bright. we also get the saints first round draft!

the giants have no chance in hell to the reach the SB again and many teams in the NFC are hopeless, i think the cowboys can be a threat and i dont like it.

Dallas and Philly both have ridiculously easy schedules this year.

All true, but we also get less respect than several teams with similar records/schedules. Like Cincy. In several “power rankings”, they’re above us, even though we have a better record, even though we beat them. And if we had Green Bay’s season, we’d be MUCH lower.

Don’t really care, just sayin’.

Like I said, it’s the last 2+ decades that’s caused the lack of respect. Losing a big game like we did last Sunday night doesn’t help. Not even Cowboys fans were high on the team entering the season after the way things ended up in 2021 and our dismal offseason. The only reason Cincy is getting some respect is because they went to the Super Bowl last season. The Packers are always going to get some respect regardless the season they’re having because of Aaron Rodgers.

The Eagles are the most overrated team in the last 5 years. They’re solid for sure, but they played at home, on Monday night, against an undrafted backup QB who threw 3 interceptions and they still had to scratch and claw in the 4th quarter to get the victory. Their QB while much improved has serious limitations.
No excuses! The Eagles beat a QB who’s better than our starter, who knows the offense better, protects the ball better, reads and processes better, makes faster decisions, is more accurate, just knows how to win, and is never giving the starting job back to that bum, Dak. One game later, they are both bums! LOL. I read it all right here on Cowboys Zone, and not by just one nutty professor but by what seemed to be more than half the membership and growing daily. Either it’s true, and Rush will be back soon since that was just one bad game, or the fans on this forum should just shut up when it comes to evaluating QBs. ;)

I think the winner of this division will be 14-3.
