We can disregard the INTs that bounced off receivers hands if we add in ones that were dropped by the defense also.

Because there's a lot of those too, ya know?
So what your saying is you want to use Turnovers that were not turnovers (Fumbles not lost) but if we dont then you want to count turnovers that were not turnovers for INT's (Balls that hit the defenders but they didnt catch)? Why do all this mental gymnastics to prove the wrong point? You dont like Dak stick to the facts and those are the last 2 playoff games against SF he has not helped this team win....Thats a more than ok argument against any QB. IF Dak comes out and throws a ton of INT's this year then you have a turnover case, as it sits his career Turnover ratio is stii very good.

It's not just INTs.

In 2020 before the injury Dak was leading the NFL in combined fumbles and INTS, in 2021 he led the NFL in fumbles (Missed 1 game), and in 2022 he led the NFL in INTs (Missed 5 games).

He's had an issue for 3 seasons now protecting the football.
In 2021 Dak had 6 fumbles lost
He’s avg 7 total fumbles per year in his career. That’s total fumbles not lost. This year he lost 1
Josh Allen had 13 total this year

No, I'm saying that if you want to take away turnovers that you deem "not Dak's fault" then we should add in the should have been turnovers that were dropped.

It's only fair.

Josh Allen played in 16 games this year also. Dak played in basically 11 games if you count the injury in week 1 and not playing the full game in week 17.

When Dak played in 16 games last year he had 14 total fumbles.

Ya'll using Josh Allen's full season stats to somehow justify Dak's horrible turnover numbers in 11 games is pretty desperate looking.

Daks career int % is better than Allens with way more passes thrown...Im not saying Dak is better just again pointing out this is a bad argument against Dak.

Lost fumbles is what really matters
He had 6 lost
Mahomes and Brady both had 4

You think you can't find a QB that leads the NFL in INTs despite missing 5 games, disappears in big games, and the team goes 4-1 WITHOUT him?

You think that's hard to replace and without Dak it would be a rebuild?

Dak is a "rebuild" level QB. He's just more expensive.
I think extending dak is a mistake, they should be asking him to take a paycut.
But I know jones boys would never do that and fully plan on keeping him so no point in talking about it.

That's why the fans should be hoping for complete failure.

We don't need to see more years of Dak to know that he will eventually cause the team to fail.

We should be hoping for top 5 draft picks for the next 3 or so years and Dak being so bad that they can't justify putting him on the field.

If he stinks up the place this year they will have to, but why hope for it, maybe we keep building this D and MM can get Dak to play up to level when it matters... I dont think he has to suck, to me he and MM are kinda on the same boat with the Jones. Get to the NFCCG or we are moving on. I like everyone else am on the same 28 year clock but if its "Win the SB or your gone" on a one year pressure cooker your kinda sealing your own fate.

Why hope for it?

Because we're not going to win anything with him.

Should we grant Dak a decade of failure instead?
