Eatman Blog:Maybe Ogletree Will Get A Chance

I've been saying it for four weeks now. Play Ogletree. Also, bench Hamlin and put Ball back there at safety.

I agree. For all we are getting out of Miles Austin it may be worth a try. As far as free safety goes, I would like to see Ball in there too. Hamlin has been so bad at tackling that I cant believe the 185 pound Ball could be any worse. If nothing else it might wake up both Austin and Hamlin ala the Mike Tomlin treatment.

Its a shame but....

The only thing we lose is RW has better blocking ability....

other then that......its a wash :p:

....nah....rest RW....lets find out what this kid will do....also this might be a good game to find out if Austin is capable of being a starter in this league.........he has been really quiet this year

LoL 5 weeks in and two losses to very good teams and people are committing seppuku.

Games we should've won. KC gonna be a 'very good' team if they beat us? Denver is NOT a very good team. We struggled with Carolina. It's not who we lost to. It's how, dude. Wrap your mind around that. Careful tho................it freakin' hurts.

Ogletree gives us speed & crisp route running, 2 things we do not have right now at the WR position. That changes defenses and can make other things work. Give the kid a chance to show what he can do (especially against KC, a so-called non-playoff team) .... we just might like the results.
He earned his way onto the team. Let him give it a shot!
