Howell IIRC at the beginning of last year was thought of a first round pick.
He had a great 2020 campaign at NC but he struggled last year and fell big time in the draft.

with " IFs'...... that could be several upon several draftees year after year that coulda, woulda ..." if " they had fallen.

It's the players that we end up " bypassing " because they don't fit Cowboys criteria prototype and scheme, ..and end up being solid players on other teams, while we flopped on
the player we picked over that ill-fit player.
