News: Eatman: Lucky Whitehead suspended for NYG for team rule violation

You know, Pat Kirwan was on the radio talking about how Garrett might want to keep the team on edge, and disciplining a non-descript player was an example that was brought up.

Wonder if that's part of what's behind this. Kinda Jimmy-like.

Don't know why he'd need to do that. They played terrible last game. There should be more than enough ammo in film review to stop the team from smelling themselves.

Cowboys return man Lucky Whitehead won’t play tomorrow against the Giants, as the team has announced that he isn’t making the trip to New Jersey because of a violation of team rules.

It’s unknown what rule Whitehead violated and unclear whether the Cowboys are suspending him — which would mean he loses his weekly paycheck — or simply deactivating him.

Whitehead is the Cowboys’ primary kickoff returner, with 10 returns for 238 yards this season, and he’s the only player on the team who has returned a punt at all this season. It’s not immediately clear who will take his place on returns.

Not that hard to figure out.

We aren't disappointed are we? It's kind of weird because I was excited for him at the beginning of the season. Now I would be fine if he didn't dress again. He scares me every time he's back for a punt and he's not a receiver. Dunbar is more of a receiver then him. Oh well, No jet sweep tomorrow.

DMac should be active and he should get some carries the last four games. He's got VERY fresh legs and can take some of the load off Zeke. I'd like to keep Zeke fresh for the playoff push. It's a luxury having DMac and Morris behind Zeke. We need to use it at this point.
I tell you what, a Zeke/Morris/DMC backfield would do damage in the playoffs.

Wow Lucky really getting some hate. I think hes definitely been disappointing this year but I haven't forgotten how pathetically awful the Beas was in the return game last year.

As a Sooner fan, I'd say yes to that, but I'd love to see Christian McCaffrey here, even more. Talk about a five-tool player!! PR, KR, jet sweep guy, backup RB and slot receiver. Hey now!

Love McCaffrey too. Other similar Swiss Army knife players: Jabrill Peppers, Adoree Jackson, Ryan Switzer

That's Dunbar in the middle. Or DMC. Or Mayle. There are some hungry guys waiting for touches.

Myth. Jimmy cut a guy who was never going to get any real action in games and isn't integral to a lot of what the team does. This would be more like cutting Vincent Mayle to send a message.

The legend and deification of Jimmy Johnson continues to grow and grow every year.

Roper was the starting LBer when cut, Richardson was Emmitt's backup. Lot of hate and ignorance for a coach who brought 3 championship rings to your favorite team.
