Just listening to Hangin' with the Boys. He says at 4.15 mark that it would have taken a first to land him.

Sound's very much like we were prepared to give this up.

I'm speechless!

Eatman is an idiot then.

Let me get this straight. We only got a 5th rounder for Cooper...and we were told that was the best you should expect because someone else was taking on his 20m cap hit....but 8 games into the season we were open to giving up a 1st day pick and take on a similar cap hit to get a WR?
That is Jerry Jones for you

Lol, can somebody please post some of the numerous links for this guy. He claims that they didn't have a problem with Cooper missing practices.

Covid does not count. Jerry did not like Amari missing practices because he was sick with Covid or at least that is what is implied.

He would also have hamstring issues and wouldn't give 100%.

Yeah, well, except for last year…

And he wasn’t likely going to get 1,000 yards here this year either. Cleveland kind of has no one. He’ll get a lot more targets there than he would have here. Don’t be confused by his stats there and think that was going to happen here. For $20M per you need to be way above 1,000 yards and have a bunch of TDs too. He has only hit 1,000 yards in about half his seasons in his career and never hit 1,200 yards in his career and never more than 8 TDs. Very good player, but not great and he absolutely was not always double or triple teamed. Come on…

just looked yeah 5 out of 8 years he hit 1000.....but 20 mil is not a lot anymore for a good #1....do you not think he is better than cooks?....just a thought?

but overral better than cooks and we cant get Cooks anyway now....we are holding very slim hope of getting OBJ...once his torn acl heals in december....Cooper got double and tripled teamed that is why Dak was throwing MVP stats until he hurt calf ...now much harder for Dak ...you Keep Coop just cause the defense they put on him plus best route runner in NFL and could fake any defender out of their jocks

No, I’ll concede that. But on the other hand, he wasn’t having meltdowns about not getting the ball enough either. He quietly went about his business. Maybe a bit too quietly, but it’s better than the alternative.

total agreement Stash...Cooper was worth the 20 mil

Yeah. It tells me that you will invent things in order for you to feel better.

Stash---- tell it like it is.....Cooper was doubled and tripled teamed and left our receivers open...Gallup and Ceedee got 1000 yds because of him....maybe they still can without him but not this year having

Rush for 5-6 games in beginning...dont get me wrong happy Rush led our team to victory 4-1....just saying once things heat up toward playoffs....Cooper would have been what we need...remember 2018

Cooper single handily turned our season around and we won a playoff game?....we were 3-5 before Dak and Cooper started tearing up the league

not that we need Gregory for our rushman are best in NFL...but it is the principle of the issue...our personnel management is not good....we let people slip between our fingers and then cut top notch receivers

so what if Coop did not want vaccine and so what if some say Coop went invisible some "away" games....i watched the QB play in those games not all on Coop....but he was always double or tripled teamed

which left our other receivers open to get 1000 yds like Gallup and Ceedee...not to mention how good our TE's are playing....and if we would get our heads out of our behinds and learn how to use Pollard

as receiver more and Turnip ( ha ha ) our kick-off punt receiver in different pass schemes we would tear up the league.....just hoping Moore wakes up more on that

Cooper was our best wide receiver last year. When De Shawn Watson starts at quarterback after week 12 for Cleveland, I believe Amari Cooper will do quite well. The fact that Dallas was trying to bring in a wide receiver before the trade deadline this year tells me all I need to know.

If we were prepared we would have done it. Nobody is prepared to give up a 1st round pick and pick up the 2 year 18M/year contract for a 30 year old WR

Of course they are not, but the Texans may well have been willing to take the hit on the contract for the 1st
